Ein analoger Synthesizer für Alle
Der Moog Minimoog Modell D wurde 1970 eingeführt, als "Synthesizer" eine riesige Wand aus einschüchternden Knöpfen, Kabeln und Steckfeldern bedeutete. Bob Moog und sein Team entwarfen den Minimoog als ein Performance Instrument von unermüdlicher Ausdruckskraft für alle Musiker. Schon bald erschien der tragbare Minimoog auf Alben von Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Stevie Wonder, Sun Ra, Bob Marley, und weiteren. Nicht lange bis ganze Genres durch den Minimoog und seinen futuristischen Klang verändert, ja sogar geschaffen wurden.
Unerreichte Handwerkskunst
Gemeinsam mit Moog Music führte das DSP-Ingenieurteam von Universal Audio ein akribisches Schaltkreismodelling und rigorose Hörtests von drei Vintage-Minimoogs durch, bis die "Golden Unit" auserwählt wurde. Unter Verwendung von eigens hergestellter Robotertechnik für ultrapräzise Regler-Messungen wurde jedes Minimoog-Modul mit diskretem Transistor VCA Modelling vollständig emuliert, wobei die Modul-zu-Modul-Kopplung und Impedanz mit hoher Detailgenauigkeit erfasst wurden. Das Ergebnis ist ein beeindruckendes LUNA Instrument, das alle Charaktereigenschaften und Nichtlinearitäten des berühmtesten Synthesizers von Bob Moog liefert — mit nahezu keiner Latenzzeit.
Unglaublicher Realismus um der Kreativität einzuheizen
Öffne einfach den Minimoog im LUNA Recording System und bereite Dich darauf vor, von dem unverkennbaren Knurren, der Fettheit und der reichhaltigen Verzerrung von Moogs kultigen Ladder-Filtern und Oszillatoren inspirieren zu lassen, sowie vom detaillierten Modelling der Pitch Tracking Anomalien des Minimoogs. Sogar der berüchtigte "Feedback" Effekt, bei dem das Ausgangssignal des Minimoog für verschiedene Verzerrungsgrade auf den Eingang geschleift wird, wird getreu wiedergegeben. Awesome in the box moog

Limited- no midi learn????
I bought this product based on reputation of both companies. I was immediately disappointed to learn that the. VST (midi) based instrument didn’t offer midi learn for the controls.
Sounds are as expected.
Don’t bother with this purchase if you want a hands on approach. It does not offer midi learn.
Maybe this product is reserved for super human mouse skills to control the parameters.

I bought this because I saw Stephan Bodzin using it live, so I thought I'd give a try, I already had the Arturia Mini V, so I compared them and was amazed of how UAD actually made the sound so profound and rich, I fell in love with the sound, and now I try to use it on all my songs, the best bass and some great leads too, I felt like my music took a leap and sounds more professional, I highly recommend this, one of the best buys I made, and with a discount, thank you for reading (I have no conflict of interest)

Problème de licence
Problème de licence, le plug-in en soit est vraiment bon mais sa connectivité via iLok rend l'activation laborieuse voir inutilisable, une fois l'ordinateur éteint la License n'est plus détecté et après essai de plusieurs solutions trouvable sur le net le problème reste le même, tant que ce ne sera pas résolu je ne peut que vous conseiller d'aller vous penchez sur d'autres émulateurs.

The Best Moog Emulation Ever!
I have Arturia’s MiniMoog as well as a few other emulations from other companies and this one by far is the best one. I use it for bass and leads and the sounds are nearly identical to the hardware versions. I honestly was not going to get this because I felt I had enough Moog emulation software but a good friend of mine convinced me to take advantage of the sale and I couldn’t be happier.

This is great. Along with the other Moog plugins. You can take yourself to outer space and different dimensions with this thing, you can get all kinds of sounds from it. I love it, it's actually very addicting to play with.

ilok and no midi mapping
No matter how good this synth sounds this damn ilok dongle which takes one usb port on my mac book and lack of midi mapping is a real dealbreaker ...even for discount price. I have a nice keyboard with knobs an sliders and I still have to use the mouse? No way. NO deal!

Been dancing around hardware moogs for a year or so and had a few plugins, but ran a trial of this and then picked up in the sale, with a discount. UA version feels leagues apart from the others I've tried, the more I've used it over the last couple of weeks I've discovered a depth to the sound and sits really well in every track I've dialled it in to. An essential tool, that's a lot of fun to play around with

Is a simple but very musical synth. Slectacular sound, and if you put fx on it........ speechless. You guys are doing great job making soft synths so i think you guys can make the voyager too(make it polyphonic because i think it was monophonic). And talking about synths, if ua make the access
virus ti2, im gonna use only ua plugins for my work, im sure its gonna be amazing. A plus, can you guys make drums like acoustic drumkits and electronic/synth drums machine/computers.

2 days left of demo, buy or not buy...??
I really love the sound, in my opinion the best emulation on the market. I also love the authenticity, UAD let's this miracle of electronic invention, be what it is supposed to be. If you want a bunch of new features, why go after a Minimoog? I love that it doesn't have 5000 presets, as long as the ones you've got are great and the UAD ones are of course really great. The last thing I need is the endless scrolling through preset lists, which are totally killing creativity. But, UAD, please... why can't you give this amazing product midi learning?? You are making evertyhing else on this synth so authentic, why can't you let us users get the authentic feeling when we use it?? The Minimoog was on sale for about $50 not too long ago, now it's a bit over $100 and even though it hurts, I will have to wait for midi mapping or at least another major sale.

Not worth it due to licensing issues.
Sounds decent, but other less hassling software can create these sounds in the box. An internet connection is required to load the plugin in an operating state, which causes problems for airgapped workstations. This is a major security concern and these plugins should be avoided.
