This is a Great addition to my arsenal. I put it on all of my tracks and it gives it a round complete sound to it. It spreads everything out. Very warm sounding!!!! Get yours! I got mine!!!

I originally bought this Tape emulator as sort of a consolation prize since I don't have the money for the Studer 800 but I've got to say that I'm pleasantly surprised with how great it sounds. And while there might not be as many functions available as with the Studer, I'm loving the simplicity. You can still get some various tones (basically brighter or more mid-heavy) and the saturation / output combos are endless. I use it on almost everything since it has a low dsp usage. Drum buss, acoustic guitars, male vocals, etc... all of it sounds great, even without any adjustment! This has replaced compressors on a lot of my tracks since slamming the input really does the same thing but with a much more grainy, analog sound than your average comp. Totally worth the money.

Absolutely BRILLIANT!
I didn't think something like this would make that much of a difference but as soon as i slapped it on the 2 bus it was all over! I was hooked! I put it on even before i start a mix as it helps me envision the final vibe of the song. Worth every cent and definitely on my top 3 for mix plugins of all time!

あったかい感じ、好き。
API2500とかアナログに通すのとはまた違った太さ、独特の倍音感。バスにインサートすると、途端にまろやかになる感じ。それはまさに、マヨネーズのよう。ノイズのリアルさを演出すれば、塩コショウにもなっちゃう万能さ。あっぱれ。
ちなみに、えびみりんせんべいはマヨネーズが合う。

Sure, you can nitpick anything but this is actually awesome in what it does to the mix bus signal. Start with the presets and start tweaking until you get it right. Fits nearly everything and anything that benefits analogue flavour and some glue

If it sounds good, it is good.
It doesn't matter if you have the real thing or not anymore. In fact I'd rather have a maintenance-free plugin than a huge, space-taking machine that you have to feed with expensive tape and pour money into to keep tip top shape. I love real analog gear as much as anybody, but seriously if you're not swimming in cash none of the great stuff is accessible. This plug makes the ATR-102 accessible to me and even if it's not actually sitting here taking up space in my apartment, it sure sounds like it is. Nobody but gear heads care what your signal went through. It just needs to sound good. So do yourself a favor, get this plug and start throwing it on your master buss.
