Best out there! King of modern soundcards!!
The Apollo Twin X delivers seamless, real-time audio processing with zero latency, making recording effortless. Its crystal-clear preamps and fast Thunderbolt connection have transformed my home studio setup.

Very nice piece of gear
First of all I never had any crashes or pop/cracking Sounds with my Twin X USB on windows 10. The Twin X Usb gives me a real analog feeling. Best Interface for Artists who track themselves. Get it . You wont regret it.

A shame to have that much problem for such a price
It's a thounsand bucks you're spending on a machine that is supposed to be one of the most advanced on the market and yet I've never seen a more problematic and unintuitive gear to use.
Let's put on the side the fact that it needs 3 differents software to work, if you're not equipped with the latest technology on your pc the Apollo just will find a reason not to work, and it all comes down to this USB3 SS connection.
Even if you made sure to match the required settings, use the best cables, try different cable lenght, buy a PCie card even though your motherboard has USB3 SS, even by updating the BIOS/windows : you won't get a guarantee this interface will work on your pc, and in my case after countless hours and some money spent to make it work I finally get a sound but it's loaded with parasites and I'm yet to find the reason for this.
I can get that using a more advanced gear can be more demanding than some beginner Scarlett or whatever, but not to that extent if your being honnest to your customer.
Here it's not that one problem is frequent, it's a problem that takes many forms depending on users and their equipment, making it really hard to understand the issue, and by checking the forums you will see that a good part of them never found any answer.
You just cannot sell such a capricious machine to that price.

Apollo don't like (hate) Windows
This sound card disappointing me.
On windows OS I have a lot of bag's and issues.
Uad plug-ins use Real Time CPU of my system. When I rendered my project- have lags in final file.
Sometimes console restart when I put new plug-ins in insert.
USB C cable not included in box. I have issues with byin cable 3.0 standard

Producer-Class audio interface, with a BUT...
I love the quality of the product, well-specified interfaces, robust construction, and thought-through console UI.
However, the one thing that surprised and disappointed me was that, unlike other software/driver installers that 'ASK' if you wish to download demo plugins, when you install the software and drivers for Apollo Twin-X, you get the whole darn lot, and the sole reason for my 4/5 rating.
It's then necessary to first browse all that's demo or not in the Console app, then play around either moving/deleting DLLs or going through the trudge of manually hiding the swathes of unwanted demo plug-ins in your DAW (etc) to avoid being overwhelmed with what is and isn't licensed/owned.
I sincerely hope and trust this will be addressed in an up-coming installer, lest more unwanted bloat should be unwittingly added to the 'demo' list and be waved-in to the DAW on a future update.
It's the sort of bloat we've all come to recognise and expect from the likes of mobile phone manufacturers/suppliers, but this level of commercialisation was certainly unexpected for a professional product.
PLEASE provide a check-box on the installer to afford customers the option of installing 'demo' plug-ins. Thank you.
