Nice addition to my reverb arsenal
Lots of sonic territory to explore with the bundle. Fired up both models with a guitar playing friend and he happily shredded for an hour while we opened up the various tonal ranges. Being able to swap out the various plates is a great feature and provides so many more options to carve sound.

EMT 140 My Go To
Most definitely my "Go To" reverb... been using it for 7 years now at another studio and just had to have it for my new set up..... Just love it!!!

Best reverb I've ever used
This reverb is just so flexible and unintrusive, I use it on every mix. It's great on just about anything, but I especially like it on vocals and drums (snare drum in particular). I think it's cool being able to have the choice of three different plates, but I almost always use plate B even though they are all great sounding.

Formidable rival to hardware version
I had never worked with the original hardware units until I found out a local studio had one. So naturally, the plugin was put to the ultimate test: does it sound as good as the hardware? It's a scary feeling flipping between two returns on the console and hearing almost no difference between a piece of hardware the size of a bookshelf and a software emulation. You can't really mess up with this thing. A lot of reverbs leave me feeling disappointed. This one is exciting, easy, and fun to use. Fantastic work by the fine folks at UAD!

Go to reverb
This is one of my go to reverbs. It's always the first one I try when I need a reverb because it's fantastic.

Outstanding Reverb
I've used A LOT of reverbs but something is different about this one. As soon I started using the EMT, I felt a little bit magic happen INSTANTLY. Its amazing what this thing can do. I haven't had the pleasure of using the original model but from what I've discovered, its the REAL DEAL! Great Job UAD!

Great Analog Reverb sound
This is so similar to the real EMT 140 . I can't believe it . This plug in brings new light it to your mix .
Great plug in for every mix I can't live without. Thanks to Universal Audio for this great work

REVERB
I believe the 250 was used on "Pour out a lil liquor" by 2pac. It gives my voice the same effect Tupac has on that track. Definitely a great tool. Sounds like metal in your voice. Don't Demo it because then You'll want to buy it. Only thing I don't like is it isn't 5k resolution quality. Brainworx and whoever made the Shadow hills plugin is genius. It looks beautiful on my iMac 5k. THats the ONLY thing about this plug in and every other UA plugin I don'tike. The digital version is like a low resolution file. You won't notice if you don't have the 5k screen. But the Console that comes with Apollo looks SUPER high def! Just wondering when and if AU will do the same to its plugin interfaces?

Great plugin. Awesome vintage sound.

Great as a drum-send
This bad boy does wonders on an AUX-channel, sending your drums to it!

Amazing for film music
The reverb is very deep and with a lot of harmonics. It doesn't add additional booming frequencies, which is amazing.
It is perfect for film and symphonic music. Great plugin.

Insanely realistic plate sound!
I've really never been a fan of reverb plugins, in general. There's always something fake or cheesy that takes a lot of time to get "right". I literally slapped this on a return bus (it's 100% wet by default) and sent a snare and the main vocal into it. It took about 10 seconds before I had the most intensely realistic plate reverb I've ever heard. I've used a few real ones, very expensive plates. I never thought a plugin could do THAT sound. Great job, UAD!

Natural sound
This is one of the best reverbs I've used in a computer, it doesn't have a lot of parameters to play with , but are enough to get a rich, musical and natural sound. I didn't have the chance to work with the original hardware but this plugin sounds great and "real".

Best Reverb
Fucking good reverb! recommended!

Very classy
I used it on voices and accoustic guitars, and it definitely made my mix sound like I recorded on big machines. The EMT 140 is quite easy to use, and it doesn't take much out of the DSP processors. Try it, adopt it :)
