This was one of the main reasons I got into the UAD platform, and it doesn't disappoint. When you want that rich evocative 70s plate sound, this blows all other digital plugins away.
On the one hand, it definitely has a signature sound, and sometimes you want a slightly more transparent verb. But it can be very forward and prominent in a mix, particularly on a vocal or drums, without being distracting. Also sounds very nice on guitars, sometimes it's really cool to leave the spring on the amp dry and add it after with the 140.
Tip: instead of using its pre delay, use a 100% wet Space Echo plugin with no repeats as the pre delay - a lot of studios did this in the 70s!

Exactly what is needed
This really is as good as people in the industry say it is.
It is my go to reverb as it is exactly what the sound needs with such diverse capabilities.
Everything from Drums to Vocals it has its place.

Great stuff
This is a great must have bundle. The 250 is very flexible and has some nice effects other than verb. The reverb is pretty great, it has a nice darker feel compared to the 140. The 140 is just awesome. it's like adding springs to what ever you use it on.
Great bundle. A must have for sure.

I use the EMT 140 on pretty much all of my lead vocal tracks. I also use this on acoustic guitars. It is flat out my favorite reverb out there. stellar!

very nice digi reverb
if you're looking for a typical high quality / studio eletroc/digi reverb sound - the EMT 250 should be definitely the "primaryfirstandonly" choice - for me it plays classes higher then the Lexicon (which could makes sense to in it's musical scenarios where the "vintage sound" is primarily on i.e. tracks). While it could sound typical 80-90 it solves requirements too after i.e. "modern" short reverbs and chorused / phased sounds on it's own. First choice on reverb buses for me - partly in addition/cchain with "early reflection" generators (i.e. a multi delay or similiar).

Absolutely love it!!! Sounds as close to the original EMT as anything I've heard. I would recommend this plugin to everyone. A must have.

warm and smooth
This is really a great reverb and best EMT250 emulations I have ever heard.
Its fat and warm but its not over the top… you can add a lot of reverb without getting a 'muddy' sound. I like it a lot on guitars but I don't like it on everything.

Having this quality reverb at such a low price is just amazing. There are a lot of great reverb plugins out there but this is one of the best ones you can buy.

Excellent Emulation
Back in the 80's I was lucky enough to use the original EMT plates. They were quirky and required a good tech to keep them working and sounding good.
It's been a long time but I must say that this little plug-in really captures the essence of using the original hardware unit with the upside of no maintenance!
For the price I would recommend this plug-in to pretty much anyone looking for an alternate reverb that is warm and rich. Remember though, " a little goes a long way" with this type of reverb!

Great Reverb - Wow!
I have the Ocean Way product but needed something that would be used on single tracks. The Ocean Way takes more CPU and works better for a reverb bus. The EMT 140 works great on single tracks (vocals, guitar, etc.) and feels natural. I play a lot of other reverb plug ins and this is my standard now. UAD is amazing!

I first saw Nick DiDia using this in studio A @ A&M years ago and loved it. Now I have it ITB and I'll use it on every session.
If you don't have it yet, get it. Your drums will love you.

Simply The Best
I love how it makes vocals have space.Iit doesn't get lost in the mix. You can hear the reverb trails which is rare in digital. Great Plug

EMT 250 La reverb de tus sueños!
Estoy super feliz con mi compra de la EMT 250 UAD plug in.
La he utilizado ya para los mas diversos usos, desde un poco de rev en las voces hasta delays super cortos en synthes. Logrando siempre un balance timbrico estupendo. Los graves de este plug in son geniales, lo que te permite usarlo en bajos o sintetizadores logrando una excelente curva de graves.
Todos los modos, chorus dly echo, etc son muy utiles a la hora de mezclar y su sonido particular te invita a ser creativo.
La EMT 250 mejora el sonido de tus mezclas. Nada de sonidos plasticos como ocurre con otros plug ins de reverberación.
La interfaz es super comoda y eficaz. Me permite automatizar de manera muy cómoda.
La EMT 250 es un plug in que debes tener!
