Cool Reverb
I really like the sound of this reverb, and it's capable of creating some great atmospheric sounds and fx.

Excellent Emulation
Having used the original back in the 80's I must say that this plug-in captures the bright-crispy sound of the original very closely! My first test was to recreate that classic 80's snare verb with the gated effect and it did not disappoint.
This is a great "go to" reverb and a must for rock snare and piano. Great job all around and I would recommend to all.

Lexicon 225 review
I'm positive there are many more out there that have mastered this reverb way more than I, however this is one of those plugins where no matter how you have any setting, it still sounds good.
I think this is probably one of the most realistic verbs Ive used. On drums, if you set the Lex for a plate or a medium-large room size sound, it's just amazing. The high end shimmer is soft and not harsh, the low end isn't muddy and woofy like some.
This one definitely take a little work to get the hang of, but start off with presets and adjust from there and youll have a great sound in no time.

Psychedelic Reverb!
For sure this is an Outstanding plug-in that you'll ever hear! Great for Alternative, reggae, dub and no matter what. It is gorgeous, smooth, clear and deep.
One of the top reverbs, personally I haven't work yet with the real lexicon 224 but i'm really in to all UAD plug ins because of there great experience and dedication to creat top quality equipments such as emulating the big guy's tools.
I hope they could do some discounts for college students cause they are little $$$ expensive.

Unbelievable
This is an expensive plugin, but it's really worth it. The hardware would cost you a fortune an this sounds unbelievable. Alongside the EMT140 plate, this is my favourite reverb. I'm using at my mate's studio as a reverb unit on his analog desk and he can't believe the sound. With the Apollo interface and the console app it works with no noticable latency. Amazing.

Senior Citizens Reverb
If it's old and crappy, UAD will model it. Christ the lexicon pcm 70 was more desirable
back in the day for a quarter of the price. ( Kurt Cobain, David Gilmour ). Dig deep into your wallets and be impressed by the name. It's still a lexicon and it will cover your ass,
even if you can't play guitar.

Lush, lexicon reverb in your studio
The Lexicon 224 plugin is a rich, high-quality reverb with lots of possibilities. It's fun just to play with the faders/parameters to get some nice sonic, ambient textures. My experience with an actual Lexicon 224 is limited so I can't say it's dead-on with any authority, but this reverb is excellent regardless of authenticity.

I cant compare 1:1 to the original sound of the Reverb, but i like this sound very much.

Only few words are needed to review this fantastic Lexicon Reverb simulation.
This UAD Plug-In might be one of the most mazing ones, i've ever worked with.
From super subtile usage via aux send, like just adding a little space - to your tracks,
to dubsteppish like killer plates. This plug in does what it's supposed to do - full range!
Anyone who loves the legendary sound of lexicon's reverbs and is looking for an native alternative - UAD's Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb is the ultimate answer.

This plug lives on my 1st FX buss!
I use this constantly! Altiverb used to be my go-to reverb, and this has replaced it.
The modulation feature is really great for thickening up reverbs (not totally natural sounding but still great). I believe Altiverb is a bit more natural sounding, but the UAD Lexicon seems to sound much better on mixes.

its like heaven
This plug in Makes everything sound Simply Beautiful! and add a fatness all around the sound and echo i couldn't see myself not using this after trying the demo.. Worth every penny!!

After many years not been active in Sound reinforcement and production I'm back in using my old tools. It up to amazing to be able to recognize the old Lexicon quality is there in new technology. Nothing has changed.

Behind the times
While this is an absolutely AMAZING reverb, I'd much rather be using it in Pro Tools 11 64bit AAX for Windows.....

a classic
This reverb is a true classic and the plug-in software version from UAD completely holds up to my expectations. it sounds lush and wonderful all around. Being able to adjust the reverb tails on separately for mid and bass as well as the treble decay makes this an amazing reverb for synths as well as any othe instruments really. Great purchase!
