it works great, a channel strip with the famous sound, of course it is not really sounding like the real thing, as I have some Api Hardware, but if you dig in deeper, it is coming close, what I don`t like about the plugins, is, that you have to be online to make them work...I think nobody likes that-

Efficient, stable and great for letting your creativity fly.
I have used many DAWs. And I think this is one of the best. Very intuitive with functions that, in addition to facilitating use for fluid creativity, will allow you to easily master parameters that will help you achieve good results in your projects.

Since the Windows version of LUNA came out, I immediately installed it because I had already heard from various sources how it was a valid alternative to other more famous DAWs.
After the initial period, I continued to use it in the FREE version because I immediately found it very intuitive to use even though, at first glance, it might seem difficult to learn compared to other DAWs.
I recently decided to get the PRO bundle to also have the UAD extensions. It's a DAW that sounds very good, it is professional but at the same time very intuitive.

I don't know how the original tape recorder sounded or the difference between this plugin and the real tape recorder, but definitely using this marvel my tracks sounds just the way I want and I don't need anything else.

As I expressed in my review of the Ampex ATR-102, should’ve bought it a long time ago!!!
Once again, as my title says, I “should’ve bought it a long time ago!!!”!!! Just like the Amoex ATR-102, it really sounds great and it provides enough settings/options to get many different tones out of it. Very natural if you want it that way and it also distorts nicely.

The real thing … and then some.
API has always been a favourite of mine, specially for recording guitars., The midrange EQs works perfectly for the job, not harsh but punchy. The Q curve sharpens or widens in relation to the gain you apply and can sweeten or cut the harmonics you’re looking for in a musical manner. I’ve worked on a dozen API analogue consoles over the years and used numerous API plugins but it’s only UAD that have really nailed the feel, colour and grain of the legendary consoles. Being compatible with the Apollo mix engine makes it the prefect recording tool, pre-amp, EQ, compression and gate all with zero latency. It’s become my ‘go to’ input plugin for the vast majority of my in the box recording and mixing.
