This plugin has many applications than simply adding some tape color to a master track. Adds excellent warmth and realism to any sound.

Smooth and Sultry
Love the sound this imbues on my vocals. When used in combo with the 1176, my vocals sound professional instantly. I love this plugin.

Amazing color!
I've used a lot of saturation plugins as well as hardware. This emulation is exactly what I needed on my 2 bus while mixing orchestra overdubs on top of historical recordings. Not just a vintage vibe as I'm using it on contemporary pop mixes as well. Best money I've spent in a long time.

Title speaks for itself, I am a full convert to UA, Luna is fantastic , just don't screw it up by trying to catch up to all the other DAW's.
I am mainly an audio recording guy with a little midi.... drums, keys etc.

Subtle. Game Changer.
I was stuck on the Studer 800 until I demoed this. Way more versatile for Rock & Folk Rock. The ATR adds most any flavor you want. Most settings give the professional analog thin screen you're looking for to smooth harsh, digital edges & bring it all together. Analog quality - I love it. A very powerful tool in the Master chain.

Plugin ruined by UA abysmal authorization process
I bought the plugin a few weeks ago and authorization never worked, I decided to use the demo version hoping it it just took a few days to propagate through their system. As of today, the demo has expired and redoing the authorization process has no effect. Either I want my money back or UA better fix their terrible device registration process. You seriously can't give us a fracking form I can fill out? Why do I have to re-install a 3GB file, restart my computer, and pray your installer can open anything on my system after I've logged in (hint: you can't with any degree of consistency).
As for my actual review of the product, the demo is great.

True to the original
My fav of the UAD plugs to date. Subtle, formidable and a must on my buss tracks. Keep your mix simple, keep it clean, use a few great plugs like this, and it’s all gonna sound sweet.

There’s no question that if you are a Luna user this is a no brainer must have. But whatever DAW that you use this would definitely be some glue to bring it all together.

Great plate!
Good sounding, very easy to use, sits well in a mix. I’ll never love digital reverb as much as the real thing but for a plug-in this one sounds about as good as any other out there and for a very good price.

If you want tape saturation, this is the plugin. I use this on drums, guitars, bass, sometimes vocals, and always on my 2 track when I sum down a mix.

Excellent Plug In
I started using this one as my main go-to for my live drum recordings. Very easy to use and make quick adjustments to some already nice presets. Lets me quickly dial in what I need. Using Logic Pro on a Mac6.1 Catalina with no issues.

Great reverb for vocal bus
I use pure plate as an aux bus to track vocalists. It helps them feel confident when they record and me when I track down ideas. 10/10 recommend

Warm and Silky
Anything you run through this EQ gets a pleasing roundness about it!! And since it's not a graphical EQ, you have to rely on what feels good!!!

Great Plate
I only need one really good reverb. I don't care what kind. I chose this one and so far it sounds great. I don't like to leave 5 starts for anything since I'm hoping something better will come along. This reverb sounds great, makes me happy.

Downward Expansion is Superb
I knew nothing about the plug-in until I took Tim Tippets' course on audio production. This box, in tandem with other ingredients in Tim's "secret sauce," handles downward expansion like a dream when set up properly. The quiet that shows up between phrases is just the right amount. It's a quiet, smooth transition from phrasing to the noise floor.
