The Most Versatile Marshall
I've been a huge fan of the Marshall Plug-ins from day one, and love them all. However the 2203 is by far the most versatile offering the widest variety of tones and (in my opinion) the best set of presets thus far. The clean sounds are perfect and Compact Rhythm is just out of control crunchy goodness! Highly recommended!

Best Marshall to date.
Just demo'ed the the new Marshall JMP 2203 and I am very pleased with this plugin. It breaks up nice yet also, cleans up when you ease up on the strings..just like my orange tube amp. I Then turned my guitar volume down and was in tone heaven. I haven't said that about any of the amp sims here. I don't have the Unison preamp, but used a 500 series A-design p1 pre. I first tried this plugin with a Ibanez RG320 with SD jb/59 and thought it had a nice blues grit to it. I then plugin in my les paul and was instantly laying down some of the best blue jams that ever poured from my finger tips,,,, very inspiring tone. Thank you UAD, you finally made me smile. :)

Spot on
I owned a '78 Master Volume 2203 JMP, which I ran through a cab with G12T-75's (for a while). This simulation is spot on. The mic selections are exactly what I used also (except I didn't own a 251). I sold that amp a few years ago.
I haven't tried any pedals with the sim yet, but this amp was a great pedal platform. Just like the amp, this sim takes some EQ to take out some of the brightness (unless you're going for that), and add some low end.
T-75's are the period correct speakers, but I didn't love them with this amp and wish the sim had a different option. But it's spot on and very real sounding, and true to the original as billed.

Insanely good 2203 - the spirit of Marshall
Hi there,
stumbled on the new Marshall 2203 plugin, and since I already have the other Marshall plugins it was an easy decision to buy it.
So, downloaded and plugged in my '79 Custom and lo and behold - its a really insane plugin which nails the 2203 sound and also is a great tool for experimenting with settings (incl all 10's) and mic combinations. I own an original 2203 from 1978 which I bought new in London and have played ever since, in my case through a late 70's 1960A with Celestion G12-65's, and copying my settings gives me a very accurate tone and response from the plugin. In my experience the G12-65 is a bit more "open" than the G12-75, which is also emulated accurately.
After only 30 minutes I am absolutely sold on this one!

Fun with Universal Audio!
If you know anything about real recording, you understand
What fun and excitement it is to record on the UA platform.
You will simply have the time of your life cutting through the
Apollo and UAD plugins.
I purchased my first Apollo in 2014 and as of Jan. 2016 I have
53 plugins. My studio goals for 2016 is to have every plugin UA
In the store.
Long live Universal Audio!

What I Like About YOU...
You really know how to dance... ok, seriously. What I REALLY love about Universal Audio is that they allow us to demo a plug in, in the comfort of our own space. To twist and tweak till our hearts content, without the pressure of a salesman hovering over us pressing us about buying the damn thing already. Honestly within a few moments of starting the demo, I KNEW I had to have it. I can go on and on about it but hearing is the truth. Here's a YouTube vid I using the Marshall SJ https://youtu.be/ZueWLFWTEd4

Sounds good to me!
I bought this plugin obviously not to replace my real amp but for coloring, and so far it works amazing. I have used this one where I had 2 guitar tracks with the same amp and guitar and it did a great job at separating and making them sound distinctive. Tip: It helps to have really good recordings to be able to use this marshall plugin to it's full potential. Either way, you can use this with a DI guitar and it still sound really in a mix. Thanks UA!

The Goods In Spades!
The latest version of this plugin is smokin' awesome! Pair it with the Tube Screamer in the Unison slot and you get immediate Gary Moore and Alex LIfeson...From their 'Prime Tone' periods! Love it! Add a little Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner 'Rock N Roll Animal' era tones from Lou Reed, and all the rest of them...This thing is incredible! Five stars!

Sweeter than sweet
I have used a Pod HD desktop for my amp sims. They go alright but the don't quite capture the way the low E, A and D strings sound through a real amp. This emulation has a thing about it that sounds real. I love the way it sounds, so emotive and so much vibe. It inspires me to record more. My only wish is that you could use the cab without the head so that i could run other emulations from the Pod though it.

Fantastic Guitar Amp
Playing through this plug in is just great. Rich and smooth with very good string detail. I really think this is one of the best amp plug in.
Highly recommended.

Character
It's responsive. It has character. I like when stuff feels human and imperfect, and when the character of the guitar comes through. Not too hyped. That's what drew me to this amp. But at the same time, it's larger than life, has dimension. Thins really opened up for me when I got unafraid to turn the guitar way down...great clean tones that way. Also, playing with the combinations of inputs leads one in some inspiring directions. I love it. I have tried lots of other amp sims, from waves, NI, and amplitube...and I find this the most responsive and organic.

True to the original
This amp sounds great and best of all it sounds Marshall! With the great amp emulations by UA there really is no need to mic up amplifiers anymore. We plug straight into the board and record. It's awesome!

best guitar sim yet!
Well I have tried them all. And this is the first one that doesn't have what I call digital fizz or put it another way the bee in a jam jar!
up till now the only way i could get a good rock sound was a 57 on a 5 watt valve amp but still to loud for my neighbours.yesterday
together with a regular client we used the Marshall to overdub a new guitar track in logic through my apogee system the latency was acceptable and the sound was f**king great. best of all it sat in the mix. yay at last!! well done ua and soft tube.

Best Amp Plug-in so far..
I really think this is one of the best amp plug ins out there and definitely the most versatile out of the 3 (currently available) Marshall Amp plug ins online. I've tried other including other Softube emulations, Amplitube, Podfarm, Bias, Logic X (built in amps) and there's nothing really as overall balanced as this UA stuff. I've used the plug in for very clean settings (if you mess with it a lot!) & for more bluesy break-up stuff as well, with multiple guitars.
I'd like to see things like Fender amp emulations on this similar level for guitar too, as I grab that too! Definitely recommend checking this out with a bunch of different guitars and pushing the amp to it's capabilities!

Excellent.
I tried every VST amp simulation during the last decade, and this one with the UNISON technology is by far the most realistic one. My best investment with the APOLLO interface. The workflow is amazing. Apollo, Ampeg SVT-VR, Marshall Jubilee, Studer A800. High quality sound at any time and anywhere. Amazing.

My mind is blown
Just because this is a high gain amp doesn't mean you can't get incredible clean tones from it! This is quite possibly one of the best sounding amps I have ever played. You can dig into it and it will actually respond, I plugged in my tele and literally made me want to cry with joy. With the rhythm clipping on it will give you lushes clean but if you dig it will sing.... Quite literally sing. After demoing the Plexi and Bluesbreaker, I bought this amp because it covers both amps in one... and not just is a good in-between, I think it slaughters them. I now have my whole array of sounds in a single plugin. Clean to top your face off dirt... I have a bruno underground 30 and a 65 amps Monterey that might not be getting mic'ed up anytime soon.

Superb
It really works. I would not buy to much Plug-Ins this year anymore. But once i tested the demo, i will :-).
It´s fantastic as the plexi and the Jubilee is.
Thx UAD.
