I still upgraded
But I remember when I first came to UA and was very hyped about it. When they put there first plugin native they stated if you own the Apollo version you will get the native so that really sold me on getting more UA plugins! It’s sad they lied but who does tell the truth in business?

The Greatest of All Time
I owned Brainworx SSL 4000 E Console. I owned Waves SSL E Channel Strip. I also owned Waves CLA Mixhub and Waves SSL EV2. I have used Solid State Logic's channel strips and Slate Digital VMR.
Still, nothing beats this.

What happened to " you will get perpetual UADx licenses for the UAD titles that you already own. "
Terrible experience as the FAQs for spark stated clearly the following.
"Is there any discount on UAD Spark if I already own some of the plug-in titles?
While there is no discount available, you will get perpetual UADx licenses for the UAD titles that you already own. "
Except for now that does not seem to apply.

Better than SSL
In comparison with the SSL Plugin version, very good. How can a 3rd party emulation be better than the Original manufacturer? I cancelled my SSL subscription finally because all the Plugins sounds so bad, and, since I listen to the UA version, yes nearly perfect.

Broken promise by UA
The promise of Spark was that you get native versions of previously purchased plugins for free. I am disappointed that this is not the case for this native version of the SSL G Comp. According to the support page there no upgrade other than the SC function.

Guter und herrvoragender Sound. Mit Coupon 9.12 Eur für die als DSP besitzer "kostenlosen" native Versionen für das Sidechain Filter zu zahlen, finde ich okay. Softwareentwicklung und Maintenance kosten eben.

Based on Uad's promise to provide Native Versions for all Dsp plugins i bought.
This is not even funny. Uterly dissapointed.

Milking the cow until it dries out
Asking to pay for something we own is not a right move, especially when you announced before that the porting of the UAD2 to native would be free for the hardware users. What is next? you are gonna put some new function that should already have been there to all plugin porting so you can milk everyone more? You could also change the color and say it is brand new and redesigned. What a joke LOL
