The Real "Magic Box"
Been in the music production hobby on and off since 2006. Never ever came across ANYTHING that delivered on promises of magic. Until this. Seriously if you buy NOTHING ELSE buy this, stick it on your mix bus and you'll understand. This is an absolute blessing of a thing.

Impressive!
Now this is how Tape saturation plugins should be made. thinking that the consumer may ( or may not) needs to control the way saturation is applied to every track... Very nice! A lot of flexibility and it sounds AMAZING.

Meets the Mark - and more
I have had this only a short while but think that the benefits added to my tracks are rewarded to a far greater extent than I thought possible. Very nice plugin, very nice results.

800 reasons why you should buy the Studer A800 Tape REcorder
Reason No. 800 - Analogue Depth, Digital Efficiency.
Now I have had the pleasure of using both the hardware and several plugin adaptations, and I can say without a doubt (minus the hardware) it is THE BEST SOUNDING TAPE PLUGIN I HAVE PURCHASED, There is another which I won't mention, it comes close but not as soft as this, (like the tube ;)) Added on several busses and the master output (with the correct settings) it adds a nice amount of colour (like a rainbow) that just makes everything sound better.

Mind Blowing…
I have been studying mixing master classes with Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, James Bay, Cold War Kids, Nora Jones, 35 Grammy nominations and at least 2 won, need I say more…)recently in light of my up and coming album. He has used this Plug-in on multiple occasions and I believe that he has mostly completely moved in the box with UA audio and Luna as his primary mix DAW. This alone is profound to think of considering how powerful, accurate and amazing all of the UA plug-ins are. I am currently working on a mix just as a learning experiment, and just putting the Studer in the mix bus chain completely transforms my mix to sound like an actual anolog record. I have no idea exactly how UA audio is able to capture something so well. To me it’s perfect and the only concern I have is how are they doing this? Is it some kind of magic or what? Whatever it is, it’s completely mind blowing. Thanks very much for everything UA audio! These plugins are literally changing my life for the better.

Great warmth
Fantastic plug in. Really adds some nice warmth to an overall mix or slapping it on an individual instrument. Love it on a Felt piano or an extra little sizzle on strings. Great work!
