API channel strip andvNEVE® 1084™ PREAMP & EQ
I am a loyal Antelope user. This week I decided to jump to UAD world. I am honestly disappointed. I purchased an Apollo x6, I thought I would have NEVE® 1084™ PREAMP & EQ and the other free plugins that Apollo twin x users have. UAD, think about it. Why do I have to spend more money and having less plugins? Please give me a valid reason!

Just Getting Into UAD . . . . . Now getting out before spending tons of money with this policy
Just bought an Apollo x4, but reading stuff like this really disappoints me.

From 2D to 3D
I already own the Studer and Ampex, but couldn’t pass up a sweet deal on the Oxide. Glad I went for it too! First track I put it on was bass, and it immediately went from sounding like flat to fat on the bottom end. Lovely plugin!

Great Chorus!!
Simple, sounds great, love this!!

Analog goodness!
Adds a nice roundness to the low-end and also makes the highs sizzle and saturate. Very handy plug-in. Although I don't have the Studer A800 yet, this one is very useful and brings a nice analog tape warmth to my mixbus. I found it works best as an accumulated effect, where as you have many instances of it throughout your project in separate tracks as opposed to just in the mixbus or master. Very nice plugin!

Beautiful Sound but...Don't understand why i have to pay again for the upgrade
First of all let me say i'm a huge fan of this plugin. i love the sound and i use it in all my mixes. It sounds really full. It helps me a lot getting the sound i like.
Now, the downside.. I bought this Channel Strip months ago, the first version with 550 eq and now, to upgrade to this latest version i have to pay again. For someone like me that have a lot of money invested in Uad (2 OCTO cards plus 40 plugins) this is just not fair. If i knew a new version was coming i would have waited to buy the new one.
Please, UAD, make this available for free for the previous owners of this incredible plugin. We all are huge fans of your work with your great emulations and want to continue to support you on future releases. but please don't charge your customers twice for an upgrade of the same plugin.
Thank you

you have to buy it again??
wow honestly stuff like this makes me want to leave UAD. how many more plugins will i have to buy TWICE? you should be grandfathering owners in. it feels greedy
B. Vladimir
Love it!
Great sounding reverb. Must have.
P. Hoier
Lovely expansion.
What can I say? As always it's better than the others. Can't compare it to the real thing, but it's the way this one sits in the mix. As with a lot of UAD things. Try it on real mixes, and you figure out it just works. It blends, it "lives", it's not too much, It's not "all over the place". It's where it should be.
And it's not even new. Something must have been done right, years ago.

Great Sounding Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb

Great emulation of the real thing
It's a really impressive emulation of the real machine, even the controls are exactly the same. Would have loved just a dry/wet knob, but not a big issue, there are workarounds to go for it

Prog. no, wait...Dub...what? Fripp?
Before the Internet We had to make our own fun. Out of wood. Being Old I can truthfully say:
"This is Rock against Racism, Left Wing, pre Tony-Blair-Tape-Echo-Bendy-Ness".
....and I can not hear the difference to the real McCoy. And I should know. Now, Where are my Tom Robinson Dentures...?
