Pure Plate Reverb
The old school reverb shines. Reminds me of when I lived under Raunch Records and released the bats on the park across the street

This chorus is excellent. I wouldn't use it on vocal, unless for creative ideas, but on guitars synths, it does an amazing job with a very specific signature sound that I can't find in any other chorus plugins.

The Real Deal
I've had the change to work with the hardware versions of these 1176. The emulations are pretty impressive, and I recognise the distortion you get when you crank them up. Well done UAD

Amazing Reverb. A must-have
I have been using Lexicon softwares a lot (including their Native plugins). I'm impressed by the 224. It is extremely faithful to the original gear.

This thing is a BEAST!
I ignored the API suite for years, thinking hey it's just for Rock music, but just tested in place of the trusty SSL G Bus Comp MKII and it's a must have. I make mostly Hip Hop and R & B and it sounded so good on the master bus when demoed I had to have it. The shape and tone controls are great and it sounds more open than the SSL to me.

Just play with the settings and you will rather quick come to a pleasing result. There is this certain character to it... you'll better be a fan. Great for percussion and vocals
