simple, but in a good way
Most of the times the hollow phrase 'less is more' does not mean that much. In this case however it is simple but delivers in spades. Fast to work with, and adding some grit and girth to your recordings. I like it a lot!

Solid!
The Century is solid, quick and easy - I was skeptical at first but I've recorded a few tracks with it now and it give some great color. I'm a fan.

Game changer!
I’ve used real LA-2A comps, and I’d say it’s my fave kind of compressor. These plugins are right on the money. In fact, they are perhaps better sounding than the hardware versions that I’ve used. Vocals galore. And bass. I’m a mobile recording guy, so racks of old stuff are just not helpful to me anymore. The LA-2A bundle makes what I do possible in the new world.

Drum Pre Galore!
I own some real Api hardware and this plug in has the exact same punch and sound for drums! Awesome channel strip!

A mysterious Monster
This is one of my sauces i must use when mixing particularly, with the drums and low end to give more drive and warmth. The Oxide Tape is something worth considering having in your arsenal as you can trust U.A.

not like analog but good enough for digital :-)
Nice presets and easy to use...
it gives a bit of analog feeling to voices and drums...
missing a master channel version of it !

It just sounds right.
This reverb will sit in pretty much most mixes. Like many uad plugs, it has a familiar tone to it. All in all a very useful reverb and very pleased with it.

Five Stars for Vision
After demoing the Vision strip, it became clear that this was the input channel I'd been looking for. Fantastic functionality, wonderful sound, and Unison enabled. I've been using it for about a week in tandem with my Sennheiser MKH-416 mic and I love it. The API Vision is now my set-it-and-forget-it chain for all of my broadcast work.

Mein Drum-Buss Kompressor No.1
Sehr vielseitige und gut klingende Emulation. Ich finde sie besser und runder vom Sound als die Emu von Waves, obwohl die auch nicht schlecht ist.

api all times for kick and bass

It’s really that good
I’m a huge fan of API. Universal Audio got this spot on. I have recorded on API desks, as well as many lunchbox 500 series pres and eq’s. I can definitely say this plugin has every nuance and character that the hardware has. That full , rounded sound of API is now achievable with the Vision CS.

Better mixes with Pultec plugin!
had the opportunity to try a real one and I have to tell you, this plugin is extremely faithful. It's great for getting the low end and high end you need for your mix. my mixes were one before and now are infinitely better with the pultec, either on the master bus or on an individual channel.

Amazing
Using most tape emulations is a waste of time, as the majority of them don't 'react' like tape does and therefore they always seem to fall short. This doesn't. It's magic. It lifts, adds warmth and the right amount of saturation to really fool the ear. Working in the box, in a home studio set up, aiming to get close to that pro studio sound without spending thousands of pounds on actual tape? This is your safest bet.
