Crank It Up!
In 1999, I was in Metroplis Studio A in London, and I saw a Pultec Eq for the first time. I asked the sound engineer: "how are you using this on guitars?" He answered: "very easy, just crank it up!", he did crank up the hig to 10, and it sounded awesome. Sometimes when your hear some beautiful piece of gear, it remains printed in your mind, you have a physical memory of it.
This is the Pultec Passive Eq Plugin Collection, real stuff, crank it up!

Love the sound. The interface takes a little time to get use to as it is very different from typical reverb units, but taking the time to learn is well worth the effort.

Easy to get great tone.
Can't say I've used the hardware, but having use the plug-in: I wish I could. There are some things only the pultec can do, and I love it for those things. I really enjoy the simplicity of getting a great sound out of this thing.

LA-2A COLLECTION IS A THING!
I've used Legacy for last 3 since I've bought Apollo 8. But I really like how they improved LA2A in collection edition! I've already used that in a couple of projects and it is brilliant!

Maybe the best Reverb out there !
I think I had them all .... no , unfortunately I'm not talking about beautiful females ... (sigh) , .... actually I refer here to an endless list of Reverb PlugIns , and although there are lots very fine Reverbs among them , I always run into a situation where they tend to sound kind of metallic .
Not so the Lexicon224 . Be it the fact that it is running on dedicated hardware , be it the quality of the algorithm itself ... or a combination of both : ... This is an extremely musical sounding Reverb .
Depending on the specific session / samplerate / etc. I can run some 3 to 4 instances on an Apollo Twin Duo .
Therefore I bought a UAD-2 Satellite OCTO Thunderbolt especially for this PlugIn . One of my best investments ever .

Awesome Plug-In Collection! Worth every Penny!
Guitars, Bass, Vocals,... there is a 1176 for every situation! Awesome Plug-in Collection! Works like the real one!!!

Lord of The 1176 World
After trying out so many clones by so many manufacturers, it is a pleasure to own the definitive 1176. Although I've never used the hardware unit, from the software angle Ivan tell it blows the competition by far.

Its everything you would expect from an LA-2A
The collection of LA-2A's is some of the best sounding compression in my opinion. The legacy stuff is definitely limited in its tonality but the collection is well worth the purchase. Just like the 1176 collection, the different versions of this classic compressor give you the ability to apply the right version to your application. All being uniquely and subtly different your able to make your ears work and figure out which one is the best fit. Bought this pack in the middle of a project and ended up throwing the LA-2A Silver on my vocals and immediately gave me the result I was looking for. Super transparent control.

All of these compressors are geeat and have their own character! I really lovr the all buttons mode for parallel compression!

My favorite compressor for bass guitar.
I love this collection, but I especially love the grey version. It just adds so much warmth and fatness, which I think is perfect for a bass tone! If you push them hard they will distort, but in a pleasant way, they are just wonderful. I had some vouchers from UAD and the collectuon was on sale so I ended up getting these compressors for only $24! What an amazing deal for such amazing compressors!

Better than the legacy version
Excellent musical equalizers, with its typical characteristic coloration. With it you can highly increase the high frequencies without appearance the sharpness and rigidity in the sound. All sounds softly and musically.
