The best compressor
This collection of compressors works incredible with basses, bassdrums, snares or any percussive instrument. You won't find any device which treats the sound better than this. The musical character and the smooth and silky finish will amaze you. On the other hand, you will receive a punchy sound: solid and present. Highly recommended.

A MUST
This piece of gear must be present in every channel/bus/mix.
The simple act of inserting a pultec with flat settings enhances the sound whatever it be. Nevertheless, if you tweak any parameter, the result is still musical and warm for every sound. I have used it on almost all instruments (vocals, pianos, guitars, drum elements, synths...) and the result is always AAA. Highly recommended.

Lexicon Reverb PlugIn
I know the original (Hardware) and the software makes the same (for me)..Great!.

supérieur à la legacy
Définitivement un degrès très supérieur à la version legacy.

PULTEC PERFECTION!!!
In my opinion it should be the first set of UA plugs you buy,(then the LA-2 and 1176 collections)...What the UA Pultec does different than other "emulations" is that (like the original)just running audio through it gives a bit of a "lift" to the track...I used to use the Waves versions but not any more..This is solid, dead on, and I use it on literally everything. It's 100% chock full of "tone and vibe"...and worth every cent...and in my experience is about as close to the "original" as can or will ever be had...BUY IT NOW!

as real as it can get!
I'd rather put it simply : this may be not the real thing but the damn closed next thing to the real thing!
I use it all the time for voice, guitars, bass, anything really...
I couldn't thank you enough....
:-D

More dimensions and flexibility
I didn't think it would be that great a difference. The collection gives a lot more flexibility and it sounds massively wider. The plugin flattens the dynamic while adding dimension. Impressive. The saturation (no attack) modes are great as well fit coloring. Overall a must buy.

One of Best and affordable.
This is my first choice when I need to grab a reverb, it will never disappoint you. For me the best way when it comes to tweak it, is to exaggerate the wet, then adjust a few knobs a walahhh!
Great Plug!!!

Very analog
Man... I used to think the Legacy LA2A was great, but this is a whole different thing. These sound pretty damn analog to me. Love them!

Very cool compressors
Each version of LA-2A has its own sound. Very good for vocal. Excellent value!

A great up upgrade to a very good plugin.
I do Audio Post Production for the film and television industry. I liked using the original LA-2A from the Analog Classics bundle on Dialogue tracks just to smooth everything out. I tried out this upgrade and fell in love with the original LA-2. I love the slow attack, it's very transparent, adds great character and warmth that I didn't get with the original Analog Classics version. Sometimes, when composing music I like the use the LA-2 just for the gain knob on synths and samples. I love the character and the smoothness. This is a great upgrade.

Makes a classic more versatile
An improved model of the harmonic character of a studio classic. The different versions offer different time constants for a bit of fine tuning for any particular source.
The emphasis screw is a great addition to tailoring the plugin to a stubborn sound.
I actually like the smaller GUI from the legacy versions, since they take up less screen space and there's just no need to have them be this big; it's not like it's actual hardware that needs room for transformers and tubes. but that's not a big deal.

At last, a real reverb
Finally I got the money to bye the legedary Lexicon 224.
Uaudio had it on sale and I´ve got a coupon that made it possible.
The first time I used it I instantly could get the reverb I wanted. It is easy to use and it sounds just great. The parameters are lovely Analog and it suits an old analog guy like me. I did´t make the RealVerb Pro to my friend. The parameters where odd placed and was not as intuitive as Lexicon 224.

STUDER A800 review by TYVY/Totem Studio
Hi UAD team,
I finally bought Studer A800 which is quite instinctive and easy for me to use although I was not familiar at all with hardware version!!
It offers much finer quality (with many options to fine tune your desired sound) than the previous basic "Tape recorder" plugin I've been using and I will apply it to all my ongoing mixes immediately, mainly to boost my Acoustic Drums Group sound.
It seems also interesting for Mastering although I've had too limited experience to explore all its possibilities.
I rate it 4 and not 5 because it consumes quite big resources of my UAD2-Duo Card (8%) which limits the number of tracks on which I can use it, since I also use many other UAD plugins. A bit expensive but worth the cost!!

Making drum racks has never been so much fun. Show no mercy on those snares !
