Pultec Passive EQ Collection
This is it! You guys nailed it! I’ve test it on two mixes of the same song using only Pulteq as eq.
One mix with the legacy and same setting and the other exact same mix with the new ones. I encourage everyone to try so. The difference speaks for himself.
First the 1176 and LA2’s than the API and now those, I frankly didn’t expect such an improvement on the Pultec :-). Thanx UA

Great!
I've only used this on one mix so far. It made a huge improvement on my drum tracks. Didn't have to compress as much later on.

Warm up those vocals!
I use the new basic grey on all lead vocals. It gives them a warmth and smoothness that defies description and digital. It sounds like a throwback to the days of analog 70's tape/tube. It can saturate when pushed, without distorting, and just running a track through this very simple compressor can give a tone that I adore. Many singers will love you and not know why they sound so rich and warm. You'll get repeat business. This basically pays for itself and more in no time flat. It never wears out and requires no maintenance.

Magical
Been using for months now. It's my go to plug-in for drums and bass. I find after I fiddle with the input I often don't need any EQ. Gives my mostly in the box tracks the warmth I seek.

Great Revisions!
I use the 1176 Classic Limiter quite often. The new revisions are nice This is just super! You gotta have it! Quality, Flexibility and Ease from a great company that never disappoints!

Great Revisions!
When one of my most used plugins got revised I could not wait to use it. I can honestly say they check out! The revisions are excellent.

Awesome
Love this EQ set, something for really any application. I love how you can coax up the weirdest wooliest sounds for drums and synth, or just use it like a normal eq. Without even doing anything it adds some unique and subtle flavor. UAD has been picking winners lately with the plugs they've chosen to re-model. Miles beyond the originals!

Huge upgrade...
Cutting age versions of a vintage studio classic. Totally worth the $99 sale price for such easy professional (and beautiful) results. UA does it again!

bigger !
I was well happy with the first LA 2 but the new collection really is better. It's bigger and smoother more analogue i guess, sounds more expensive and that can't be a bad thing. Great on vocals, bass and room mic's. I can't recommend the LA-2 Collection enough really pleased.

Awsome
This is the most amazing LA-2A plugins thats out there. Its just like playing with the real thing. Its a must have for vocals. I also bought the new 1176 package and those are also amazing. And i also saw the new Pultec, this is only getting better and better. Keep up tthe good work. :)

Covers my LA-2A plug-in needs, completely.
After purchasing the 1176 Collection and loving them, I knew I had to try these when they debuted. I already had all of the most popular LA-2A emulations from other developers, as well as the legacy UAD plug-in. I often mixed and matched between the various branded plug-ins and the legacy UAD LA-2A but always felt like it was only 75% "there". However, every since getting these I almost exclusively reach for them no matter the source, if I want a LA-2A plug-in on an insert. I really love these. While they may not always sound drastically different, these cover all of my LA-2A plug-in needs and come very close to what I know of the sound of my hardware.

Not the trump I was hoping for...
The Pultec Pro (classic) has been the primary EQ in my mastering chain for several years. I just completed an A/B test. I like the smoothness and warmth of the new set (sans lo/hi-cut). But by comparison the new EQs jointly lack the punch of the original. In fact, I'm going to be sticking with the original for my mastering work. It's just not worth sacrificing the midrange punch I get through the original.
I anticipated this would be a no brainer upgrade for me like the 1176 and LA-2 compressors were, but it's simply not. I pray to my higher power that UA NEVER discontinues the older versions. Ultimately, it's probably good to have both versions, but for now, I'll spend my dough on something else.

Lexicojn 224 digital reverb review:
Recently I purchased a quad core UAD custom bundle and chose the lexicon as one of my plug ins. This reverb is amazing. Preset 1 sounds warm smooth and soft. Unlike some other reverbs I've used before I find the lexicon doesnt really have any bad or harsh presets or sounds. Anything I send to the Lexicon just sounds super smooth. Favorite applications are vocals and acoustic guitars.
