Warm glewing sound
First tests on male vocals , tracks with fairchild vintage synths, and snare-drum came out with very fat and pleasant warm sounds . I specially like the pre-amp knob

Beautifully simple.
Love the sound. Love the simplicity of programming this that can yield amazingly complex sounding results. Well done UA. I bought this and the Opal and they are both stunning.

Very good results
I used it on a big drum, some electric snare drums. Also on a vocal track (a complicated one). In the future I will expand the area of use because the result was very good. Personally, over time I have physically reproduced several models of preamplifiers with lamps with great attention to detail. In conclusion, this Helios emulation is very close (and in certain situations) surpasses the original. We can't develop here but the UAD result is professional.

Decent plugin - easy to use, powerful result
The plugin perfectly fits my home studio providing easy to use interface and excellent sound quality. It takes effort before realizing the bottom logic of the compressors since the UI doesn’t tell much. However, once tuned to the sweet spot, the plugin contributes vastly.

It sounds pretty good but I can’t use it. You can’t download it if you have windows 8.1 like me because it starts with windows 10. In a few years, I will complete my review.

Sounds great, but why no DSP version?
I love the sound and would like to use it on multiple tracks, but opening more than one instance on even a relatively simple mix causes my i9 CPU to stutter and crackle -- why isn't there a DSP version?

Very useful tool
I downloaded the Manley VOXBOX a few weeks ago and it has proven extremely useful in a range of applications, certainly not limited to vocal tracks. We're currently mixing the new Big Green album, and it's finding its way into pretty much every song. Nice finishing treatment for sequenced drum parts, too. Like it.
