Excellent Budget UAD Choice
The other tape machine UA offers has more control but this is a SOLID tape for the price point its sounds great just wish you had more control like the other tape machines. Using this with Kramer tape on individual tracks with half mix or less and getting excellent results.

Hard to Let Go!
Well, I stared working on a new mix, so of course I had to test this Plugin out. Wow, it fit right into my workflow.
I usually don't buy right away, (initial pricing) but with nine days left on my demo, I had to make this purchase. It didn't take long for me to realized that I wouldn't be able to remove this excellent EQ from my mix!
It's not magic, it doesn't fix bad mixes, but if you have a nice clean mix, you'll definitely hear the flavors this has to offer. Nice one!

Vocal saturator
I love this for subtle yet effective vocal saturation. It gives a nice low end that is not overwhelming, which I love after doing some low cut for clean processing.

Does Seem to Replicate the Warmth of Real Tape
It's been awhile since I've recorded on tape, but the A800, to my ears, does a great job of capturing the warmth and saturation of tracking on real tape. Impressed!

Simple & Soulful
This plugin is fantastic. Quick to find your frequencies to tailor, and doesn't crap out with harsh edges. Would use it on all channels if I could!

Ampex ATR - amazing sound, for sure.
If you're thinking of grabbing this- don't think- unless you have another plug in that can take any or all of your tracks and make them sound like 1000% punchier and thicker and more colorful. It's like the Oxide plugin turned up to 11.

Plug-in barely works
I have a silver face apollo 16. This Capitol chambers plug-in can’t even load one instance at 96k . I need a solution, because I can load probably 20 instances of other UAD plugins and not even one of this one. Very frustrated.
