Must Have Channel Strip
After using APi EQ plugins for so long its great to have all the APi Elements The Pre , the Gate, Comp, HPF LPF, together,,, Its a great added flavor compared to the other styles of plugs. Universal Audio always produces something the others don't . Just get a couple Octo Cards and you will be fine

Very impressive. vari-mu next please!!:-) I'm glad to see UA Did the coding for this one. I gotta say i own pretty much every plug on earth and theres just something a little extra in the UA stuff that it justifies spend more money. Thanks for helping my studio stay current.

Ah Lexicon....
What a great companion to the EMT 140. I printed a copy of the remote to put on my desk...I've seen it so many times in studio photos that I needed to have one to. I may not have the actual remote, but I do have the sound....and that's what counts. Thanks to Lexicon and UA.

This is one serious channel strip. Those comments saying '..just another channel strip' should check it out and put it through it's paces. The detail imparted by the 212L preamp on drums and guitars alone is priceless let alone the other 4 modules.
Having long been a fan of the hardware API 500A EQ I was planning to purchase the 550A/560 series plugin but this is so much better, and better value for money, IMHO. Having the extra band on the 550L EQ makes it far more versatile as an all round EQ. Although I own most of the other UAD plugins, and love the Neve EQs, I think I have just found my new go-to channel strip.

These new (LA-2A) plug in's are incredible. Add a little magic to your processing arsenal with this collection. I can't imagine working without them now. If you try them you will buy them!

Something Special
Here I was wondering what to put into my custom bundle on its final day when along comes the API Vision. I put it on a female vocal and chose the Airy Vocal setting. Instant gratification. I tried to replicate the sound using other plugins for over an hour but just could not get anything to sound better than the API. This got chosen over the Manley so it is something pretty special.
Well worth a demo and the dsp hit.

Amazed at what I was missing!
On some mixes and individual tracks this plug-in is just what the Dr. ordered. It does that special e.q. / compression thing that just seems to gel tracks together. It is one of my new favorites for mastering. I also love using it or the Studer A800 as the last piece of a track preset for guitar tracks.

I CAN NOW SELL MY HARDWARE VERSION 224.
It sounds close enough to my 224 in the convienence of a plug-in. Have always loved 224 for drums. Just something about the reverb tail of Lexicon I have always loved. Like usual another great emulation from UAD.

It´s the first time I`m really impressed. I`ve tested the whole arsenal of different world class EQs, compressors and channel strips, but this combination defines a wonderful warm and unique vintage sound, especially for vocals, but also for instrumental background (bass, guitars, keyboards, strings and drums). Many thanks to UAD for a great work, for a phantastic emulation of original API sound in addition to the API 500 series. I`m sure many people will be tempted to realize a whole mix only using the API channel strips, of course supported by some UAD-high end-plugs.

One of the very best
One of the best Reverb plug-in on the market. Really you can't go wrong with this purchase. You can have a good sound very quickly unlike some others very good reverb plugin... Programs are very efficient. Just use the demo and then buy ;)

Love it, on the right material it can lift it up...
...but...
...on some programs it's totally lost and/or meaningless.
I'm glad I have all the reverbs and delays from UAD, they all have their strengths and weaknesses.

Nice n smoth
Useful unit - just like the hardware. I like to use it along (like so many others) with the 1176 on vocals. The difference between the 3 verisions makes it more useful in a different situations. I also use this plug in on pianos quite often. Easy to use.

Another superb plug in from UAD. BUY THIS!!! Adds warth, depth and that gritty vibe. Goes perfectly along with everything/anything. This type of saturation is really hard get in a daw world, but know - Its here!

The Real Deal
During 14 days of demo use......I put this bundle to the test and I must say I was truly blown away....These plugins or the real deal...I have tried many plugins modeled on the la2a....and these by far sound the best...these plugins is a must have if you or a serious mixing Engineer or producer.....Love these bad boyz..............can't go wrong.....

They have done such a great job on all of these plugs... it's hard to choose. And then... they let you demo everything... it's like playing with a puppy at the pet store... they know what they're doing!
This just makes everything sound richer and better... like tape... it really works. It brings that warm glue to anything you put it on... like others have said... Don't Demo it!!... you'll buy it for sure.. this stuff is like crack!
