Different than expected
I THOUGHT I was just getting a live room emulation like Capitol Chambers. I hadn't really read the details about the various things that this plugin does, and that's all on me. It does the live room thing PLUS much more that I wasn't expecting. I'm not sure how much re-amping or re-voicing of instruments I will be doing, but it's a very ineteresting plugin. Of course it does have just the room sound if you put it in "reverb" mode. I like to have a variety of real room sounds, which is why I purchased it, but the additional functions are a real bonus, and I need to learn how to use it to see if those other functions are something I need. Very cool plugin.

I love 76 comp
I really liked this compressor with its legendary and expensive sound, it sounds much better than the compressor from the Waves company.

Quality
I just run my vocals through the Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb…job done!
I don’t spend a lot of time tweaking parameters..no need..default is excellent..just take it out of solo . The soundscape possibilities are endless.

Easy to use. A versatile tool in UA Plugins arsenal.
It needs some learning curve until you get that sweet spot for mixing and recording. A must for reverb, and not only fans. Thank you UA for helping my mixes to be part of rock n roll history!

Pretty good synth
I own different company version of Moog mini and this one has really good preset that sound like the hardware.

Beautiful, but unreliable for me
I LOVE how the B3 sounds, when it's working right, but sometimes it only makes harsh noises for me, and on one occasion it started out fine but then suddenly would only play the lowest octave of an already recorded MIDI track. I suspect these are compatibility problems—I'm running this in Cubase on an M2 Mac—but the problems do seem to be unique to this one instrument. I tend not to try to solve these kinds of problems, but instead to switch to a different instrument (even if I don't like it as well), so that I can keep working. In other words, some of the blame for this might be on me and my work habits. I'm more an end user than a tech-person.

Simply Remarkable
Quite likely the best addition to my ever-increasing list of rooms & reverbs. This is different from standard rooms/p;ates/chambers, et al... it adds space around the sound and creates a more human feel to drum loops and other less-than-real sounding signals. I am absolutely thrilled with SOUND CITY. A good friend of mine worked in this room and raves about the sound of the real room... I couldn't be happier... thanks to the team at UAD

I have Capitol Chambersw and Motown - Both are supurb- and bring character to your mix
I have a confession to make - I'm an old analog gal in a digital world. I "came of age" in an analog studio many years ago - from the mics the Neve analog desk, throughout the signal chain, to the 24 track Studers to the two track for the mix down. My signal chain is still as analog as I can make it. I RELY on UA to keep me true to that analog spirit. To have access to the Capitol chambers (and the Motown chambers (I grew up in Detroit during the Motown years)) is something that would have been impossible back in the day. But UA gives me that capability. I use them both on just about every mix (and the I also rely on the UA EMT 140 plate. ) The Capitol Chambers are smooth and bright and never muddy. Simply stated, UA is critical to my analog as possible - mix signal chain.
