I've been mixing with plugins for almost 20 years, and have a an embarrassing amount of compressor plugins. The UAD API 2500 is simply the snappiest compressor plugin I've ever come across. Brilliant for transient shaping. It's my go to for snappy arpeggio synth lines and percussive sounds.

C'et tune émulation incroyable . J'avais activé la démo a sa sortie pour des prods plutôt jazz et blues et le résultat a été fantastique et donc je l'ai acheté puis avec un copain ingé son nous l'avons utilisé sur des prods modernes et le résultat est fantastique c'est super chaud. Nous avons même utilisé des eqs et des compresseurs type shadowhill dessus et c"est d'une beauté incroyable. Mes clients sont très surpris de cette qualité de son !!

Great sound and súper intuitive
This plugin is a nice combination of sound and usability. The GUI is very clean and easy to follow. I got it free with the purchase of the Apollo x4. Nice addition to my collection.

Thick sound
This plugin makes everything sound punchy and thick. I own the oxide which is good, but this feels superior and fatter. Can’t believe I’ve been so long without it. Highly recommended.

Smooth as butter
I got to use a real 737 a few years back on a track for a commercial and I loved it. I heard a lot of hype over this plugin, so I got the demo and cut a vocal with it. Upon listening back I instantly bought it. Wow. It sounds the exact same. If you are looking for that radio ready pop sound, this will get you there. Be weary of certain gear websites that bash every plugin because "analog" is better. This is indistinguishable. If you don't have 3 thousand dollars to purchase a physical unit, spend 10 percent of that and get the exact same sound. Thank you UA!!!

Almost use it in every part of the mix, great unison preamp for tracking as well.
Will not trade this for other channel strip.
Function as swiss army knive.. All in one!
I choose API vision over SSL4000 because of strong API character in preamp, compressor and EQ.

Great sounding
Compared to other chorus plugins I have, this is clearly the winner. Easy to use and lush sounding. Plugin graphics are pleasing as always.

Not glamorous, but great!
I have the Avalon strip and demo'd the Voxbox, but this one just "works" for my voice. The preamp gain adds a nice "hair" and thickness when driven, the compression is virtually foolproof, and the EQ is flattering. As a bonus, the presets are really well-designed; I was surprised to see one tailored for an Sm7b, and it worked really well. This plug should get more attention than it does; it's one of my favorites.

Awesome
I really made friends with the 176. To me it has the aggressiveness of an 1176, only creamier and warmer. So far I've used it on vocals, bass and snares and it really does it for me. Highly recommend!

Um, wow.
I’ve tried this reverb (via trial) many times, and my go-to has been the BX-20 for the last two years. This is such a great alternative and really nails an authentic chamber sound for any mix. Must have.

So worth it
It’s like having a secret weapon for every instrument. You can make anything sound completely different just by trying each compressor. Bluey on vocals!!!!!
