I have Vt-737’s in 3 rooms and have been using them consistently for years. ( mainly on hip hop and r&b vocals ) The only major difference here is that the knobs and buttons are on a computer screen instead of hardware. Other than the Huge price difference , a plus to owning this plug-in is that you don’t have to warm up or change blown tubes...

Works like the Real Avalon PreAmp
I was working in a studio with an Avalon Preamp for about 9 months. Now that I am in quarantine and I don't have access to the studio, I bought this Avalon Pluggin to continue my work from home. Wow I am impressed, its like working with the real one!

Definitely THE most natural sounding reverb I've ever heard!!!
Unfortunately you need a lot of DSP, if you have a lot of tracks, but it's definitely worth using it!
As a Classical Musician, I find it very hard to find a reverb that doesn't sound artificial. If you feel the same, Capitol Chambers is the solution!

A must have for any engineer
Simple and effective. Based off a classic we all know and love. Sounds incredibly close to what a real 1176 sounds like. I literally put on any and everything. The place it works best for me are vocals, guitars, and kick and snare. Though I’ve used it on nearly every source imaginable with incredible results!

This plugin sweetens any and everything you put through it. Now with Luna being able to run the studer in real-time, it’s definitely a must have Plug-in if your going to be making or mixing serious music in the modern era.

These add beautiful harmonics just running through with no added EQ. I use the Pultecs on as many tracks as I can and the mix buss to add some sheen and weight

Nothing else comes close
Nothing else I've tried comes close to the warmth, grit and analog feel of the UA Minimoog. The sound palette, coupled with the responsive interactive controls, are so inspiring that I think my guitars are starting to feel neglected!

I love this plug-in. I have a chain of this, mxr flanger & galaxy tape echo as a send that I put on vocals and drums as a dubbing effect. It sounds so lush and wide.

Not bad but could use more features
It's not a bad tape recorder but isn't that versatile. Maybe some people like that but I feel like the lack of features don't allow you to do what you can from a true tape recorder.

Great Emulation
Don't wanna deal with the real thing breaking all the time? Have you ever been in the middle of a session and *boom* your space echo craps out and needs to be sent in for repair? Welp, this solves all those problems. It's not a real tape echo but it's damn close.
Saturation can be a little harsh at times. Similar to the stomp box version of this tape machine. But otherwise I find it to be pretty great.

This plug-in can be a little intimidating if you don't know how to use it properly. I work in Ableton and find that having it on a send vs. plopping it onto a track is more useful. I got this plug-in free with my Apollo and I've used it on every mix so far. A very solid emulation of a plate reverb.
