It’s for real
I don’t notice the difference from the hardware and if you can good for you but to me it sounds and reacts as I would expect the hardware to. The real point is who cares if the end listener likes the song and whether they know or care if you used a plug-in or not. Save yourself a couple grand if you’re like me and can’t afford 10’s of thousands on outboard hardware. This one is a must buy.

Amazing !!
I’ve owned the very expensive 737 for years and it was always the first channel strip I’d go to for vocals. It was also the first high end channel strip I owned and I saved for months just for a down payment to end up financing the balance. I used the trial one day for a female vocal and my jaw dropped as to how accurate it was to the hardware unit. Of course I’m the only one in the room that cared to notice and everyone is looking at me like I was in a coma. If you’re like me and slowly realizing that expensive hardware like the 737 can be emulated so well nowadays save your money and use the trials to make decisions. Whenever the hardware or emulation debate comes up I always say use your ears and then ask yourself if the end listener will know that you used a $3000 hardware version or a $99 plugin (I used the sale) I would guess the listener wouldn’t know or care if they are enjoying the song, so where’s the argument now. This plugin is worth owning and you can unrack the expensive beast if you own it and get some cash back.

Incredible plugin, although not as close to the original hardware
Just to say this plugin sounds amazing, preamp has 'the touch', compression is good (although the hardware can compress more being more transparent) and the eq works really well, not to say the transparent hpf. But the magic is the routing options you have, which makes it a real workhorse. In combo with the Tube-Tech CL1-B is a magic chain. Sinceraly, everyone should get it

I love the sound of a good LA-3A and this plugin doesn’t disappoint! Another really great tool to have in my arsenal. Give it a shot on your drum bus, it’s got a unique flavor!

The synth designed very well. It feels like programming a hardware unit. I love the voice panning feature. Also love the sound. Totally recommended.

This may (???) be a nice effect plugin, but has nothing (!!!) whatsoever to do with a real Leslie cabinet, of which I personally own and use two different ones for more than 25 years. The original ones do have a very mellow and beautiful sound if softly driven, but can go up to a very cranky, but still soft sound if highly driven. This plugin however only produces some highly distorted artificial sounds, additionally overdone by filtering. This has nothing to do with a real Leslie cabinet. And this is the very first UAD plugin I really dislike. Unfortunately I did not test it beforehand, but trusted UAD! I repeat, I strongly dislike this plugin !!!

Simple. Does get you there!
It is quite simple to use. It does not have all the functions of the Voxbox but it does do a great job on my mic. Sounds amazing in Unison and that, for me, it’s how I think it’s intended to use.

Just beautiful
I was amazed how great this thing sounds. Being the proud owner of an original vintage Minimoog, I had the chance to compare and it does sound authentic.

Blend and warmth
An ideal way to blend tracks in a mix and make them sound rich and warm. I love the sound of Ampex 456 at 15ips. Back in the day, we used to automate each track to reduce tape hiss. I LOVE being able to turn off the tape hiss with the click of a button!

Perfect!
I love how this compressor makes vocals and instruments sound full and smooth in the most natural way. Perfect for vocals, woodwinds, bass, acoustic guitars, 'ukulele and everything else!

soooo close
as with so many ua plugins now you can not use them in console. this is the plugin i have dreamed about for years and it sounds fantastic. but, i hope with all the focus on native plugins they do not leave out those of us who have invested heavily in their awsome interfaces.

Great subtle, slow-acting tube-flavoured compressor
This is another must-have compressor. It does what it's supposed to do and sounds great. Slightly dark, if I might say so, but still, it sounds great.

Underwhelming & Disappointing
I tried this plugin for the first time and I didn't like the sound, however I tweaked the settings. I don't know if it's because I don't like plate reverb or because I don't like this plugin, but all I know is I simply don't like the sound. Furthermore, the UI is a little counterintuitive and doesn't resize/scale well on my display systems. I uninstalled almost immediately.

This is an easy-to-use, great-sounding plugin that does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's a must-have compressor, and is super versatile, as it should be. I would definitely recommend.

Simply amazing! Makes everything sound better and will smash your expectations!
I bought this plugin because it was on sale and I didn't know what to expect but I chucked it on, and even with this simple, 2-band EQ and 2 knobs for each band, it has the ability to make everything sound better. My mind is blown 10x over. It's insane. It's amazing. It literally is the only tonal EQ you will ever need.
