No tricks pony.
I have tried to use RAVEL on my newest projects but every time I compare it with Keyscape and I end up using Keyscape instead. The reason is that I think RAVEL lacks body and a dry focused sound. Even the driest setting is too wet. I really want to use it on a project, but it just doesn't sound very good in the mix. Too roomy, muddy, and harsh.
I produce mostly pop/rock.
I am still looking for that one trick (at least) for this new pony.

OMG!!!!
Sounds AMAZING!!!

I but it for just one preset
I buy it for one preset, kk atmosphere. I also have the 480 version but the 224 is more atmospheric for me. I create a layer with raum reverb from native instruments and together I have a super atmospheric reverb , vangelis style ;)

Amazing
I use it on Vocals, guitars, bass and piano, fanstatic gain performances, colour.
The transparent compression is phenomenal, a must have when you produce and mix music.
Top 3 vst I ever used.
Thanks to Avalon and UAD for their beautiful work!

UAD for the win on these!
UAD for the win! I love this collection of 1176! This and the La2a stay on everything!

Just like the hardware
I own a pair of EL-8X's. Now I can slap several of these on my mix without having to do the hybrid setup thing a few at a time to find the blended sound I want. thumbs up.

Excellent Chorus Effect
Studio quality chorus here. Thick, warm sounding and lush.
Still learning the nuances of the unit. Great for synths and guitars amongst other instruments.

Toolbox Staple
A must have in your arsenal, especially for drum parallel compression...distression*

Such a vibe
Added this to a track to try give it a bit of extra vibe and life. Works very well on drums and vocals. Have used on rhythm guitar bus tracks to make the stereo width sound fuller too. Love it, hopefully a UADx variant soon :)

MANLEY TUBE PREAMP IS WARM AND JUST RIGHT
Just try a demo of this. I don't even feel like a review is necessary. This and/or the Voxbox on ANY type of vocals, hiphop, pop, countryyyyyy, whatever, So warm and clean. Virtually distortion free if dialed right. I dont wanna say "but its good on," taking away from the facts I just stated, but, I do gotta say: lowkey, play with this joint on some bass... enjoi

Nice reverb
This reverb instantly sounds good.

The Studer A800 is ridiculous!!
This plugin is truly the real deal for that compression that tape would give when you hit it hard! I’m in shock what a cumulative effect has on the over all mix.
Great!!

Universal comes through solid as usual
I'd been looking for a compression plugin that was appropriate for kick and bass and their symbiotic relationship. This compressor is just that tool. I've used it for both louder and softer dynamics and transitions between them and it sounds fantastic!

Analog Warmth
Yeah, i mean, it just sounds so good to me. Especially when run through a thermionic culture vulture with the "Warming Valve" preset. You can just feel it.

Correct but not perfect
It is correct, but the major defect in my opinion is the irregularity of the sounds and velocities: there is too big a difference between the C5 and the A4 Sharp for example.
I don't understand how you can give 5 stars, in any case, they are surely not professional musicians. You have to be deaf not to hear this kind of defect.
It's still usable but not as a main piano. And compared to the competition, it's not worth more than 70$.

Gives life !!!
It adds life and pleasant musicality to soulless virtual instruments.

Decent, but has flaws
Got this to have some options when tracking digital piano. There is a lot of body and deep tone in this software. It does have a more intimate feel to the resonance of the piano.
At first it was a huge improvement to the stock plugs in my DAW. However, as I’ve been mixing with this software, I’ve started to notice some slight distortion in the samples. I checked it on 5 different DAW setups at various rooms I mix in. The same result in all of them. It worth the price and I will keep using it from time to time, but I will keep searching for a richer tone that doesn’t have distortion embedded in the trigger samples.
