What's Not To Love!!
Amazing compressors! I have never owned the hardware and have only had access to a few. Definitely my go to compressors for about everything. I am still learning the nuances of each 1176 model. I am a compressor junky and these are a great addition to my ever growing collection.

Great aggressive compressor
When I want things upfront or add some bite I use this, great addition to other UAD compressors. And it’s very versatile, controllable and adds strong character to everything.

Excellent!
The UAD LA-3 sounds just like it’s suppose to do. LA-3 with the UAD LA-2, magic!

Welp!
The sound quality of this piece is phenomenal. The warmth and depth of the 800 is second only to the 1000lb hardware beast. You guyz are shameless ‘Kopy Kats’ and I’m telling’ everybody!

Damn great!
Did a lot of research and checked a bunch of shootouts before my purchase... This is a beautiful emulation of the hardware. Gives you the grit when you need it, keeps is tight when you don’t.

YOU NEED THIS
The sonics this plug adds to glue mixes is next level. I think there is an element of digital recording that lacks warmth & the needed human element and this plugin helps go back and gather some of those human artifacts. It's a great addition to your master buss.

The one
This pre amp sounds amazing!
I have used the original and this one is up there with the hardware

Bloody tops!
To use an Aussie saying, I 'ummed' and ' ahhhed' about whether to fork the cash for the full version of this plugin. Short version? The legacy version is excellent, the full version is excellenter. I'm very happy I went for it. I use it constantly and the HLF-3c is terrific for all sorts of applications; particularly artistic purposes. Terrific.

I was told it was good, it's good
You've heard about it. I mean? It's talked about all the time! I use it, I dig it.
And yes, the bought version is more versatile than the legacy version.

Awesome
I love this plugin. I use it all the time and make good use of the panning function. I also like that it isn't DSP hungry.
One of my must haves.

Swirling goodness
This plugin was thrown in on an Apollo purchase and I wasn't sure if I'd use it... Boy, do I use it! It's great. I have a 68 Gretsch Streamliner that I play through a Laney VC30, a super clean articulate sound. I often send the signal to a channel running the Brigade and Raw. Blending it up the middle of a panned miked guitar cab sounds fierce. Just the right amount of scratch and texture to give the guitar a little something more. Definitely try it out.

A pleasant surprise
So I had a few extra plugins to choose when I bought my last Apollo. I asked a buddy of mine who is a terrific engineer and producer. He suggested the 224; I hadn't considered it. I've been all caught up in plate/spring/chamber land and hadn't thought about what might be missing... This is what was missing. It's amazing! So much kooky vibe that can be totally musical but spooky, scary, wild and weird. A very fun plugin.

Yummy
This plugin is finding its way onto many, many tracks in my sessions. It's amazing paired with my Coles 4038 on vocals. Loving it

Digging it
I held off buying Ravel until the damping pedal became adjustable. It did, and I took the plunge. I'm really glad I did; a great sounding piano that I quickly forget is midi when mixing. Lots of control over the sound and perfect for my small studio space that can't fit a piano.... I don't feel the need to replace parts when I hit the studio in the coming months. I'm even considering tracking with the band using Ravel. It sounds that good.
The latest update of Luna seems to be working well, no little glitchy things that I encountered on previous updates (jumpy midi notes, editing issues). It seems to be solid now. I feel like the investment I've made using Luna is really starting to pay off. Good job UAD during a tough year.
