My Review
Great Unit!

If you play a JC-120, you'll love this chorus sound!
The jazz chorus is currently my go-to amp at the moment. It's a pretty versatile amp if you have the right pedals. But my favorite thing about it is hands down the chorus/vibrato. The brigade chorus gets me that tone! Now I just run my pedalboard through my Apollo Twin.

Finally I have an Avalon 737
I love that universal audio as finally made a software version of the Avalon . I wanted this gear for years but didn’t want to pay the price . So I jumped on the price of 149.00 A no brainier my vocals sounds great with my apollo twin with unison pre amp job well done

A decent piano overall
Ravel has a special sound that I've never heard on other piano instruments, probably because of the way UA models the resonance of strings. But it lacks a bit of authenticity compared to my favorite concert grand VI. I think it will work great in a denser mix, but not really when playing solo. Still, a great value when purchased with the creator bundle.

It's a classic
I use it almost exclusively on my guitar tracks. It's my go-to delay for guitar

Very useful
Saves plugging in your board to get the sounds you wish, very effective and great array of presets

WOW!!!!
This is Some how better working than the original unit I had at my studio last year, I know it´s not fully analog sounding but its offering operational extras that the original one and hadn´t? because of the stereo, I had only one channel at my studio, now I can do a lot of very useful stereo tasks in a stereo channel with this plugin. Thanks UAD

Meh
This plug in is over the top. I find having it barely on is pretty much the only way I use it. At least in my application.

Expensive, but worth it
Picked this up to replace my Focusrite Liquid 56, expansion ability is great and flawless connection, Unison is Worth it, much better than the Liquid channels. After install everything just worked. People mentioned that the unison pre's are flat but they are designed to emulate and need to be transparent. Literally the whole point..
Only gripe is the hardware is incredibly expensive and so are the plugins. I quickly run out of DSP, but you can get around this easy enough.

A must have
What this did on my live pre recorded drums was insane! Not only does it warm it up it also brought some clarity. I’ve used it on instruments and vocals and it never lets me down.

Love it!!
I own the Avalon hardware preamp, but this emulation is amazing! Now I rarely use the hardware unit. Love it for vocals and acoustic instruments. Pushing the 20 or 32 k band eq a little after de-essing provides nice air to a vocal without the digital artifacts that often come with boosting other eqs. Has a musical sounding compressor that can add a nice warm texture if that's what you're seeking

Incredible...
Still learning how to fully use this plug in, but when it's instantiated on my individual tracks, it's almost like I can actually hear the sound in 3D. It adds a presence that has me shaking my head in disbelief. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. That, used in conjunction with the Ampeg ATR 102 on my master buss gives me the sound I've been looking for. My engineer has scolded me for trying to mix (lol), but once he's used this (being an analog guy) he was totally blown away also, ESPECIALLY after taking it through its paces. UA has totally knocked this out of the park.

Sublime Compressors Especially For Lead Vox
I was and still am a big fan of UA’s TubeTech CL1B MKII compressor for lead vocals but for my latest single there was some warmth and character missing from the lead vox and I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I had been receiving UA ads and updates about the 176’s but just thought ‘oh yeah just another compressor, I have so many of them already’ but I decided to demo them and was instantly blown away. They seemed to combine the best of the LA2A and the Manley Variable Mu - loads of taming ability with loads of tube warmth. It was exactly what my lead vox needed. It’s no exaggeration to say that the UA 176 (the black one is the one I ended up using - both are amazing though) helped make my latest track what it is. You can really control the tone of whatever instrument it is you’re compressing. I happen to think they’re ideal for vocals. I tracked them in LUNA using UA Neve 1073’s / Unison and had the 176 on an insert so I could adjust the comp after tracking. This combo was dynamite. Try it!

This one is a dream
In combination with the Brigade Chorus, i can easily recreate all of my favorite sounds from the 80s. You can create so much depth to your guitars.
