My new go-to
I recently purchased this after using it constantly for the 14 day trial. A big part of my business is VO and vocals, and the 737 is now sitting in my daily template. It adds a perfect quality of compression, EQ and presence for radio without sounding like it was painted on with a wide brush. It was just what I needed for my work and it's a great addition to all the amazing UA plugs I already owned.

Great sound
I own multiple “tape” plugins and have owned multiple actual tape machines. This one is great for adding that tape warmth/sound.

Having owned the rack version I was skeptical, but this plugin sounds spot on. I run it in Unison on my inputs! Great work.

Stellar But Useless
Tried it out for various instruments - sounded quite good. Looks good too.
But because of the latency, can't use it.
UAD is great for hardware - the rest is for the most part, hype.

I had a 737 and sold it and this plug in gets the best parts of it right...the smooth compressor and nice, responsive eq are spot on!

This tape emulation works wonderfully. I’ve been using it on mandolin, acoustic and electric guitars, drums and vocals. I then use the ampex plugin on the mix buss with stellar results.

I use it on everything!!
All I can say is once you use this, it will become addictive. I use it on everything, it thickens and adds a certain amount of saturation that makes your digital music sound analog.

I’ve never used the physical version but I’m very satisfied with the clean pre, and I love the compressor too, it does something beautiful to my vocals.

Fantastic Channel Strip
I tried it and realised after a day of A/B testing that its a must have. Works on anything and adds amazing Analog sound to it. Its a high-end Preamp, EQ and Compressor in one. Which is what you normally would build up one at a time in the signal chain for achieving a sound. It gives the same quality of sound as three UAD plugins together. So using the Century Tube Channel Strip enables much faster workflow as you can quickly put it on a channel and quickly dial in a sweet spot that inspires you. I highly recommend it!

Sounds fantastic, I use it in every session in every mix on every vocal, nothing beats it. Also great to track with.
