If I had only waited.....
Well, normally I would say I am quite happy with my purchases from Universal Audio, but with this one I am a bit peeved. It seems that if I had just waited a couple of months I could have had Oxide with Luna for free! I feel like I just through some money out the window!

The presets are really kewl, and have certain implementations for specific instruments and wow they all sound super sweet, but when I slap it on drum bus in default, It just has a mojo that Is so great, then on bass guitar its silly good, love the 3 different versions you get too, very glad I grabbed this..

Analog Compression
Unfortunatly I‘ll never be able to get my hands on the real gear. But that‘s the way it should sound. Close your eyes to imagine sitting in front of the hardware in your rack.

So I usually put a CLA 3A on my guitar bus, to hold things together...
The moment I demoed the UAD version, the difference was staggering. Solid.

Thank you for making it again. UA175B & 176 !!
I haven't actually tried the UA 175B & 176 compressor hardware.
However, since I believe in UA, which has excellent reprint technology worldwide, I was not hesitant to buy this plug-in.
Currently I use this plugin for a lot of work.
UA 175B & 176 Both plug-ins feature rich colors.
In particular, the UA 176 compressor delivers a very pleasant low end.
When used strongly, it is used very shallowly because it affects elements a little, and you can get very good harmonics simply by plugging in.
Compressors have a lot of influence on the person who makes the music.
You need to study carefully the characteristics of the compressor you use, as it also influences the direction of the direction of music.
I'm thinking of putting the UA 175B & 176 compressor into much of my music by 2020.

Very high level reverb!
I love the EMT-140 reverb very much.
When the first Pure Plate Reverb was released, it was not very interested.
However, after the demonstration, it was very transparent, free and easy to use, so I bought it even with my EMT-140.
I currently compare it with the EMT-140 and use it properly.
Plate reverb is very useful in many cases.
The more colorful the reverb, the easier it is to work.
If you want to make the sound you want faster, then very good plate reverb is a must.
Plug-ins made by UA have never been disappointed.
So I encourage you to demo a very high level & very convenient Pure Plate Reverb that can be used in any case.

I thought it would be better
I always wanted to have this unit in the studio, but if it sounds like uad, I can’t understand who needs it at all, and why it costs $ 2000. The sound of the equalizer is very cheap, the compressor is generally terrible. I doubt that this is a copy of this device. Most likely a beautiful picture with shiny handles.

don't do nothing if it's not necessary
most of the time i use it on the mix bus,without using anything,no eq,no comp,no nothing...i don't need to,it's already perfect,for drum or bass bus i use everything,it depends on the sound...very slick suff

Sounds great but makes my sessions crash
Hi all, I'm running a Mac Pro Tower late 2013 with 64gb of RAM. Ever since I purchased (didn't have this issue during the free trial) this plugin, one of my larger sessions started crashing upon startup.
Other than that it sounds pretty awesome.
