Rev E
I have 4 Rev E's next to me every day at the studio but I constantly reach for this. The weight these add to a vocal or drum sounds so close to the hardware unit

My Favorite Plugin
I love this plugin on kicks! It's Like Magic to me! But I use it for other stuff as well! Amazing!!!

To be honest I was looking to get a hardware unit of the distressor but then a friend of mine invited me to his Studio to try out this uad plug-in. So we did that a b comparison and I honestly can say it was so close this comparison right here actually had me go and get the Apollo twin quad core. Enough said I have beat around the bush for years on uad not anymore.

Smooth and simple controls
Glad I purchased this reverb. Simple interface with very full, smooth, warm and creamy reverb.

I wish it was less sensitive
I enjoy the sound but I feel like it could be easier to fine tune

Lost pleasure, found again
I've never been quite satisfied with chorus plugins before. Always went back to my pedals when it was time to use one. For the first time, my Boss are staying on the shelf, and I find the same pleasing and ever modulating sound character in this Brigade Chorus.
Plus, just as the original, it's two effects in one, and both the Vibrato and the Chorus are superb, no matter if dialed all the way to extreme settings or more reasonable ones.

Gentle reverb
I think it's better for instruments than vocals

Reverb - As precise and organic as it should be
I was lucky enough to get this one as part of a promotion package.
Admittedly, otherwise, I maybe wouldn't have considered it, thinking "oh well, I already have Plates, and UAD has such a vast Reverbs choice to offer". What a shame that would have been...
This reverb is a gem. To put it simply, it just works. And isn't that what a reverb's job should be? Be it for tracking, or mixing, it just sounds good, with a pleasing simplicity.
I love it on vocals and guitar, but I'm pretty confident it's far from being limited to those sources.
On top of all that, its DSP usage is very decent, and so it makes it a great choice for DSP hungry sessions.
Great piece of effect for your arsenal.

Amazing Oxide Warmth!!
The simplicity, and depth of character you get from adjusting very few parameters is stunning. I use the Oxide plug on voiceovers to ad depth to the voice as part of a VO chain that cuts through a commercial productions. This plug in ads heft without mud. Wow, This plugin does really special things to my VO work!

Great!
Back before I had any UAD, I had to use up to 5/6 different reverbs across the mix - now I can just put this Pure Plate as general reverb and it does the job very very well! Could use it on every possible source of sound.

That sound you’ve been looking for
Ever felt like your recorded vocals were missing something? Well that ‘something’ is the Teletronix LA-2A.
Being a diy musician is tough but with having the LA-2A, you can relieve some of the stresses that are often found during the mixing process. It provides a smooth and warm characteristic to the vocals giving you that ‘Radio Ready’ sound that
you’ve been looking for.

Welcome to classic compression/limiting
Remarkably faithful recreation of these beautiful and characteristic units.

Upgrade to the pro!
I've been using the legacy version for some time and really liking it, especially on vocals. The updated version sounds way way better than the legacy version. I demoed it for vocal recordings, and first thing that hit me was how 'classic' a sound that was. Instant buy after that. Exactly how it should sound, and how I recognize it from countless 60s records. I was running a U67 into the Neve Preamp plugin, then into the Teletronix and then on tape, committing everything on the way in. You're never afraid to commit to a certain sound, when it sounds so classic! It's also great on acoustic guitars. Between this the Fairchild 670/660, and tape-compression, I don't think that I will ever need another compressor.
