All of these are starting to sound the same to me...
This is a great plugin, but not all that different, sonically, then every other compressor plugin UA has.
It's good, but not my "go-to" compressor.

These are so subjective that I hate to leave my .02, but for my money this is not as good as the original TDM Fairchild plugin.
It's "ok", but nothing more. I updated, loyally. But not impressed.

Un véritable couteau suisse dynamique incroyable permet de d'aller assez loin dans la compression sans effet de pompage certains dirons qu'ils ne trouvent pas de différences avec la version hardware moi je pense que la version soft à un peu moins de corps mais c'est un vrai régal.
Je ne pense pas, comme certains le disent qu'on peut simuler un 1176 ou un la2a au niveau dynamique et couleur mais je viens à peine de l'avoir et je n'ai pas encore exploité toutes ses possibilités.

Best tape emulator out there
I have used plenty of tape emulators available for free and paid for.
They all claim to add the "analog magic warmth" but when running tone / noise testing on them they certanily don't add anything special.
I was recommended to try Oxide Tape Recorder and all I can say is WOW!!!
best tape emulator out there. Just having this on you channels / buss channels really adds colour in ways you would have to creatively eq to achive. Once driven on the input you get even more flavours..
For the price and what it does it well worth it..
Simple to use and just what you want at the start of any chain.

A Classic
This plug-in is "Classic" and gives you that retro vibe when you need it. Dialing it in is easy and fun! Plug-ins like this one help me find the sound I'm looking for and then realize it in the analog/hardware world.
4 stars because after all it is just a plug-in. Nothing can replace the real thing.

Finally!
I have the hardware, but always wanted a plugin version for drum busses when I already have the hardware on other tracks. It’s very true to the hardware sound and just as easy to use. You won’t regret this purchase

Classic sound, affordable and easy to use
I really like the sound of the LA2A, especially on bass. You can get such a nice coloration out of it, that it became my go to bass compressor. It is very easy to use and reliable. That's why I use it on nearly every project.

Workhorse
Wow. These dynamics processors sound amazing. They are on nearly every channel of my mixes. I use it for subtle glue, heavy limiting and coloration. These plugins are sonically so versatile, that they became quickly real workhorses of my setup.

A must have for bass
The EQ-P1A is one of my favourite plugins on bass. It adds so much richness and roundness to it, that you can hardly get out of any other eq. It is nearly impossible to get anything bad sounding from it and therefore it has a distinct place in my mixsetup. A combined version like the legacy Pro, with all pultecs in one interface would be great. But anyway. Good job UAD!

Analogue sweetness
Since I use this plugin on my busses and the Ampex on my master, my songs sound more musical and professional. The harmonic content and subtle compression you can get from them is awesome, although it doesn't sound too drastic. I use these plugins on every mix and I am very pleased about them. Great Job UAD!

Its "tape" but really 3 things, a little saturation ,compression, eq. and the best part is, It sounds very cool, What more do you need ? lol

Simple but flexible.
Despite its simple and straightforward appearance, there’s a good choice of colour from this tape sim. The top end is especially silky and your audio will simply sound more expensive for having applied this.

Great Tape Emulator
I Was Skeptical About Adding This To My Plug-in List, But After Using This For Barely A Full Week, I Find Myself Using This Often. It Sounds Great. It’s Perfect For Turning Dull Bass And Vocals Into Something Exciting. If You Find Yourself Debating On Getting This, I Would Definitely Buy It. It’s Well Worth It In My Opinion.

Great compressor
Best bang for your back. This compressor comes so incredibly close to the performance of the hardware version that for the price it can’t be beat. Honestly I can’t even tell the difference. I got this for my home studio setup. I don’t have $1800 to spend on a hardware compressor alone. This plugin performs like the real thing at a fraction of the cost. I love it. It is a monster on vocals and drums!
