So many creative options
When I map hardware controls to the parameters of the Galaxy Tape Echo, it's like having one in my studio. Except that because it's a plugin, I can have as many as my DSP will allow! Fantastic.

Authentic Recreation
This is an extremely accurate recreation with both the character and limitations of the original. Not as flexible or as 'out there' as some other tape echo plugins around but does it's thing with an analog vibe and the usual UAD quality. If you want an authentic Space Echo effect then this is the closest to the original hardware, with it's limitations.

Great reverb, easy to use !
I'm not really tech savy when it comes to reverb, so the simplified approach to settings is really great, you can't go wrong with this one !
Sound is great, if you don't have the EMT 140 it's a great plug to start

Top Tape!
I’m new to UAD, was using VTM as my tape plugin before buying this but afterwards didn’t need VTM anymore. You INSTANTLY hear the difference in your mix when applying Oxide Tape to it, very simple to use and easy to dial in a good sound. Best tape plugin I’ve used thus far, mixes come ALIVE!

Great on drums and guitars
These seems to work great on many things, but I particularly like it on individual drum and guitar (electric and acoustic) tracks. I usually don't use many presets, but the included ones are great for getting in the ballpark and then a quick tweak to get it just right. Gang control is awesome for working across multiple tracks.

Really a great chorus to use with any instrument and gently with the voice.

Smooth!
The LA-3A added a rich quality to tracks. It brought out the vocals, and cleaned up guitars. I look to it to smooth the rough edges on tracks.

Absolute MUST HAVE plugin. Better get it while it's on sale! Gives amazing harmonic distortion. Gives it such a human feel to everything. It's those subtle artifacts that makes for an amazing mix. 5/5

The Fairchild Tube Limiter
The Fairchild Tube Limiter collection has served exceptionally well on sources like vocals, drums, guitars, and synths. It allows vocals and instruments to shine. While it may take some fine tuning to determine how much compression will be applied in context of a mix, the plugin has a mix knob (dry/wet) feature which is extremely useful and also provides a way to parallel compress. Whether the compression you desire is subtle or aggressive, this plugin can certainly add tonal character and weight to your mix. I have used this collection for the past 3 years and believe it's worth adding to your tool kit of UAD plugins.

I own several great reverb plugins from competitors I won't mention here. But this is something else. I know now why the Lexicon 224 is so revered.
