Amazing sound and value, buy this!
As soon as I tried out the LA-2A collection demo, I had to have it. It really sweetens every vocal I've tried it on, and having three LA-2A's to pick from depending on the sound I'm looking for is just incredible. Combine this with the 1176 collection and your vocal chain will sound first class. I can't believe that I now have the sound of this legendary hardware in my DAW for this kind of money.

Great plugins but Satellite still unstable
I would give the plugins themselves a 4 star review.
However the UAD Satellite still remains an unreliable piece of equipment, unsuited to professional application for those who need gear that works ALL the time.
On a good day I will only have 2 or 3 crashes but usually I have many more, and often at crucial times. I don't have this problem ever with my UAD solo laptop, and so its clear that the Firewire drivers are the issue here
I would rather see this issue remedied than new plugins and promotions being released.
Its a shame to see UAD abandoning their existing customer base

If tubey is a word, then that Studer describes it. I picked this over the ATR, not sure why but it just felt better. I've tried out the ATR and I did get it, but I still prefer this better.

Warm it up
This plugin is incredibly cool on guitar tracks - fuzzing it out is what I'm after and found such a great tone when doing that!

I'm using it for almost all my instruments
Although I have many other plugins. But for most of instruments, (drums and vocals not included), I use DBX 160x. It gives me bouncy sounds and increase dynamics of many instruments.

This compressor really does give you a sound and style that other compressors don't do. It's also just about the easiest thing to use and get sounding good.
I think it's most commonly used for drums, but I've run it across just about everything at one point or another.

The fairchild collection is really great, I hold my head like george martin used to.
Why 4/5 stars? because They gave me a special coupon reduced price 224$ and now you can have..it for 149 $.
They said: because you are a good client..

I am very happy that I can simulate a recording studio in the early years with UAD. In addition your great product maintenance. Very beautiful is in your instructions, which will once explained the history of the equipment. This is music history!
This feedback is representative of all purchased products from me.
Music history for me and many other bands like Cliff Richard & the Shadows.
I would very much appreciate it if you would a real Vox Amp (Ac 15/30) model. It would be very nice fit to the echoes of Maestro and Roland.

Psychedelic Reverb!
For sure this is an Outstanding plug-in that you'll ever hear! Great for Alternative, reggae, dub and no matter what. It is gorgeous, smooth, clear and deep.
One of the top reverbs, personally I haven't work yet with the real lexicon 224 but i'm really in to all UAD plug ins because of there great experience and dedication to creat top quality equipments such as emulating the big guy's tools.
I hope they could do some discounts for college students cause they are little $$$ expensive.

Unbelievable
This is an expensive plugin, but it's really worth it. The hardware would cost you a fortune an this sounds unbelievable. Alongside the EMT140 plate, this is my favourite reverb. I'm using at my mate's studio as a reverb unit on his analog desk and he can't believe the sound. With the Apollo interface and the console app it works with no noticable latency. Amazing.

Fantastic
Works like an instrument and becomes part of the mix. I've tried other LA-2A Clones and Similar Plugs, and this collection, particularly "The Silver" has become a go to and in every mix.

This plugin collection hardly needs another glowing review to convince potential buyers at this point. That being said I am very pleased.

Great Product!
I can use the Fairchild 660 to fatten up any guitar, vocal or bass track it works great as a plugin with softy be amp room too when tracking to warm up the sound on anything especially when lining in. a $50,000 compressor in my personal recording arsenal for $299.00! Thanks UAD!

Génial pour les basses
Bonjour, c'est vraiment un super compresseur je l'utilise sur des basses synthétiques car pas de basse dans le home studio et ça sonne comme une vraie. C'est vraiment incroyable! Ca lui rajoute un grain et une présence comme si on venait taper dans les vrais micros d'une basse. Très bon plug!

Musical compressors
I'm really happy with these compressors, they are very musical. The AE version is a nice bonus with its 2:1 ratio setting for a more subtle character.
