???????????????????????????????????????????LA-2A????????????????????

Compress with character.
I personally really like the character this collection gives to your sources.
I've no direct comparison with the hardware units, but I tested these plugins on different sources in different contexts and the results have always left me pleased.
I found very useful the 1176 AE due to its "2:1" ratio and "slow" attack features.
If you want THAT TONE and you know how to set these machines up, you will find the entire collection useful.
In my chain, one instance of this plugin takes 13,1% on DSP1 (Satellite Quad), 17,9% PGM, 3% on total DSP meter and 4% on total PGM meter on UAD control panel.
1088 samples (24,67 ms) latency at 44,1 kHz. [PT10 shows 1143 samples].
Hope this helps.

1176 bundle
Really useful compressors. They all sound different. Great to give different colors to vocals.

A-mazing sound, crashes sessions
These sound absolutely incredible, but crash my sessions like crazy. So, at the moment unusable, but that fix will be a sunny day

great sound and eay use
I have a real pultec in my rack and i reach for the plugin first...that tells you everything...no patching around and gain staging plus multiple adda conversions....great sound with real analog feel....best eq with neve 1073...

What to say more about this dream reverb
What to say more about this dream reverb,
It changes from invisible but significant to most spectacular with intuitive settings actually operative

Just like a PulTec!!!! Well done, UA!
So, what I can say: it sounds like a Pultec! Completely! Even better than my two PulTec EQP-1A DIY clones. Warm and rich sound... just pass the signal thru it, even without adjustments!
And another one, why I love all of the UAD Plugins: they are looks exactly like a hardware! And this is very important for me: not only hear "sounds like a hardware". I wanna see this device and "feel" it!

CLASSIC LIMIER COLLECTION
This was suggested to me by an engineering friend who uses it a lot when doing mixes.
I purchased it and have been using it on a bunch of tracks to help control and mold them.
Great set of limiters for almost any occasion when the needs arise.
Highly recommend.

sweet sounding
These plugins become my go-to EQs for vocals and master bus.
I use EQP-1A to boost top end to get some air & excitement. Can't go wrong even boosting hard. Boosting bottom end also add warmth without muddiness.
Also, I use HLF-3C in every channel those need the low cut filter. such as, vocal, acoustic guitar, electric guitar , etc. Very sweet.

The 'vintage Porsche 911' of EQ
I can't tell you how many times I have used the MEQ-5 & EQP-1A and recommended it....I've simply lost count of the years! I first came across these as hardware originals and I can tell you Universal have totally captured the 'sound.'
The main thing that hits you straight away when you use these is how easy it is to get the sound you always dreamed of but thought wasn't possible.
I have used these EQs in many different ways and they have always given astounding results! I have even used them to put back the life and ambience on digital transfers which lost it for good!
The Pultec EQs perform pure magic and sometimes witchcraft on audio! They are a work of art.
You simply HAVE to have these as your main go-to EQs!

Vital..
I was mixing this Hip Hop song that had Three Snares and one Clap, and it seemed no matter what I tried I just couldn't Get them all to hit the way I wanted. So after trying five different compressors, including an outboard API compressor. I decided to Bus them all out to one Mono Aux, put the UAD Neve 1073 on the whole bus, and after that throw the Revision E 1176 with a faster attack and a 4and8 ratio and it was magic. I have used the Vintage Neve 1073 and 1066's as well as the vintage Urei 1176s and these capture that magic. It was incredible.

agressive tone and control
Perfect control of peaks with natural musicality and vintage agressiveness. Great color. Worth buying, much better than legacy version. Do not hesitate, buy now and thank me later....

great on buses too
Great response niot only on solo instruments and vocals, but also try it on stem groups with needles just touching....instant glue...less automation and editing....more time to have fun and enjoy life outside of studio!

best reverb
Better than Lexicon Pcm native bundle, very realistic and detailed reverb tail. Blends in a mix very nice. Emt140 and Lex 224 are my two goto reverbs.

10 out of 10
This is the best compressor,i've ever met in my life.
I can literally use it on everything! And I do it!
I don't know why,but the description of 1176 "It is useful for everything" Completely not works for me. The DBX160 - weapon of choose.

Ah Lexicon....
What a great companion to the EMT 140. I printed a copy of the remote to put on my desk...I've seen it so many times in studio photos that I needed to have one to. I may not have the actual remote, but I do have the sound....and that's what counts. Thanks to Lexicon and UA.

If you try them you will buy them!
These new (LA-2A) plug in's are incredible. Add a little magic to your processing arsenal with this collection. I can't imagine working without them now. If you try them you will buy them!

I CAN NOW SELL MY HARDWARE VERSION 224.
It sounds close enough to my 224 in the convienence of a plug-in. Have always loved 224 for drums. Just something about the reverb tail of Lexicon I have always loved. Like usual another great emulation from UAD.

One of the very best
One of the best Reverb plug-in on the market. Really you can't go wrong with this purchase. You can have a good sound very quickly unlike some others very good reverb plugin... Programs are very efficient. Just use the demo and then buy ;)
C. Soulos
Good in it's place, like all reverbs
Love it, on the right material it can lift it up...
...but...
...on some programs it's totally lost and/or meaningless.
I'm glad I have all the reverbs and delays from UAD, they all have their strengths and weaknesses.
