Very happy with this product and thankful for this tool.
I have a vintage blackface hardware unit and before i had the uad card and plugs, i would bounce drum tracks back through the hardware - it was time consuming, clunky, and an iffy process because of adding more d/a, a/d conversion on the track. I always felt like i was losing something, but it was worth it when i needed that sound. The 1176 plugs i had were nowhere near as good as my hardware. I finally got a uad card and a bunch of plug-ins including this set, and have never looked back. I just insert it on a track and go. My workflow has greatly improved. I did some blind testing in my room where i'm used to the way things sound and many times couldn't tell the hardware from the software. Stunning plug-in!!

Lexicon 224
This is by far the best reverb I have ever heard in a plug in. I have a lot of reverbs and this is just incredible. Very warm and fat sounding as you would expect from Lexicon. Awesome job highly recommended.

Tape your bruises
Drums gets more plastic and become 3D-like. When you close your eyes you feel like standing in front of the kit.
One thing could be better: Gang control should be possible in different groups.

Given my poor English skills, please.
To say that the world today is digital, people want warmth even in the digital
Yes. Because we're human. I like to be nice and warm wrapping. Representation makes it.
Is a plug-in I wanted. 'Cause I'm an emotional person who likes to be warm at the same time. I'm not an expert. I could not listen to people saying you're ok, I saw for the first time put the board on the master channel. Did you warm. It's ok to purchase, so you forever give love.

Very good simulation
I tried a lot of "Pultecs" from serveral firms, but the one from UAD sounds "open and clear". Some competitors seems to do "nothing" accept showing a vintage layout, some do a good work, but this is superb. The only disadvantage is the too long plugin-latency all UAD- Plugins have. Tipp from me: Do not use TOO much plugins of this type (input transformerl) in your channel strip, you will get too much THD when chaining

A Classic Reborn
There is only one thing that can be said about this plugin. PHENOMENAL! Probably the best emu of Lexicon reverbs I've heard (including those MADE BY lexicon). Has all the character of the hardware unit with some nice (albeit rarely used) additions. I was able to recreate an old favorite in seconds. Now if they would make an external controller that could hook directly up to the plugin....

Used in nearly every mix!
A magical plugin for sure, transparent, clean and wonderful compression. Great on anything, and i'm still using the legacy version!

My New EQ!
I had no idea that plugin EQ could sound this great. I'm not sure how I got along with out it before. Keep up the good work UA!

Smooth like butter…
This has become my go-to reverb for everything! Very smooth on vocals. Nice ambience on drums. Absolutely love this reverb, well worth the money spend. I think the only thing that could top this is if UAD modeled the Bricasti M7. Thanks again UAD for making incredible products!!

Decent.
The UAD LA-3A sounds very smooth. In comparison, the Waves CLA LA-3A seems to have a little more bite and edge. Nice to have both, depending on the sound you're after.

Best Plugin Reverb
I tried the plates and convolutions and even Ocean Way, but I prefer the sound and flexibility of this reverb.
The tactile controls and the distinctive sound did it for me. I will use no other reverb for lead instruments, vocals or snare.
If you would like to hear how this sounds on vocals and snare check out https://soundcloud.com/rialety.
Tip for processing snare: Duplicate your snare track into 2 or more tracks and process different parts of the beat/song differently. For instance, on my track "Steppin Out", I processed the snare on the front beat with a very dry reverb, and for the back beat, I opened it up for much more decay. This gives a real groove to the song by affecting the listener with a sense of eb and flow. Buy it

Very Unique Eq
This eq responds very differently than all other eqs I have used. I am coming from a Waves perspective (which are essential tools as well).
This eq allows you to change the frequencies in a subtle transparent way... the sonic integrity of the signal is never compromised and you can really begin to affect the harmonics of the sound rather than the sound itself.
This is the best way that I can describe it. Try for yourself and see the beautiful transparency that it brings.
Check out https://soundcloud.com/rialety for a demonstration of this eq. I used it on vocals and the master fader for a low/high cut.

great upgrade
I think this is a great upgrade to the original really impressed

UAD Pultec New
It was soo good that I went overboard...
but it's magic on vocals

This should be an upgrade
When I bought the UAD package it came with a number of these plugins. Buying the 1176 and LA2 was part of the deal when I parted with my money. Ok fair enough they have managed to improve it but really this means it should be a free upgrade not a whole new purchase. If I do buy the new improved version what do I do with the old versions. I guess I'll never use them which essentially means it's been a waste of money.
