Der Precision Buss Compressor ist ein zweikanaliger VCA-Dynamikprozessor für eine modern klingende, transparente Pegelreduktion. Er wurde speziell dafür konzipiert, die Einzelelemente eines Mixes zu vereinen und so den homogenen, geschliffenen Gesamtklang zu erzielen, den man von den Kompressoren der Master-Sektion von Mischpulten gewohnt ist.
Als flexibles und intuitives Werkzeug empfiehlt sich der Precision Buss Compressor in erster Linie für den finalen Abgleich deiner Mixes. Zusätzlich bewährt er sich aber auch bei der Bearbeitung unterschiedlicher Quellsignale von Drum-Bussen oder Overheads bis hin zu Gesangsensembles und sogar als Channel-Kompressor in Einzelspuren.Mixes mit diesem effektiven und transparenten Dynamikprozessor von UA bearbeiten

A very good bus compressor that can be used just as well on individual sources with great success. I also like that it is Console 1 compatible, which gives me even further use out of it....

I bought it as an alternative to The Glue, which I initially used on the Master buss, tho' only to give the mixes a bit of weight pre mastering, then used it on pretty much everything. The same with the PBC - I seem to be using it on everything now. I did an A/B of a mix where I duplicated The Glue settings with the PBC. What I used to think was mellowness tying the mix together seems like a lack of clarity - the UAD compressor is a lot better.

Like all Precision stuff, this compressor is hyper-transparent and does what it says on the tin. Great sounding compression with very little added character. Even has that cool Fade button, haha.

After working with, shadow hills, Elysia alpha , SSL, Neve, I must tell you, I beleive this is THE BEST compressor for my mastering. In my idea, there is no competitor for it. Thank you UAD for creating this amazing plugin. I really Love it!

I like this easy to use compressor for the transparency and option to let the low end through. If I was to speak to an update it would be the option to unlink the left and right.

It sounds little bit different from ssl buss comp, more transparent, which makes him better choise for mastering purposes

Very nice subtle filter with first class bus compressor.
Well worth the purchase, works very well on Logic x summing stacks as well as drum buses et cetera, nice warm transience. That said I’m also very impressed with the precision plugins.
