Tubetech compressor is an amazing unit, but I just could afford one of them. So I tried the UAD Plugin. It is incredible, I couldn´t notice any difference. The transparency, the gentle compression, the feeling is there. Like the HW unit, it is almost impossible to make something wrong with this plugin. Getting the right amount of compression is incredible easy. It is fixed in my vocal chain and mandatory in my bass when recording, and in almost every track when mixing. Its is one of the best plugins in my UAD collection. Thanks a lot ¡

For me, is a no brainer, im really liking this compression, but i didn't use the original hardware, whatever its mark was, so i can't compare them.
Can say, that if u want a compressor for taming voices, without being so aggresive, u know -2 -3 dbs compression on low ratios for tracking and printing, for me, its the way to go, all over 2A really slight compression but taming spikes, and making the mid range not that harshy while keeping its character, if u are looking something like this, this is your compressorJ.
